Luther held his gaze for a long moment before letting out a quiet chuckle. He turned slightly, tilting his head toward their mother.
She looked between them, her face filled with hesitation, but she did not argue.
Cassius exhaled slowly, watching as Luther finally turned. "Come, Mother. It seems my dear brother still believes he holds control."
She hesitated, looking at Cassius one last time.
"Cass. Let mother stay over at least…"
He did not respond.
Her shoulders dropped slightly, and with that, she followed Luther.
"Come over tomorrow..without Luther, without that omega if you really wish to see me.."
Her eyes brightened up when she heard Cassius's words.
"Alright I'll be over after breakfast.."
The guards moved in unison, their presence withdrawing as quickly as they had come.
Cassius stood still, his fingers flexing slightly before curling into a fist.
Reginald stepped forward after a moment. "Master."
