Chapter 10 - Chapter 28-29-30

Chapter 28 – Family Dinner

Khloé Kardashian's house was impeccable that night. The family dinner had a special purpose: to celebrate Khloé and Jacob's new moment. The couple now shared a home, and the occasion was perfect for everyone to get together and celebrate this milestone.

Jacob, as always, had dedicated himself to the preparations. In addition to helping Khloé organize the dinner, he had also adjusted some details in the home's decoration, showing a creative and skillful side that surprised everyone.

When the doorbell rang, Khloé was the first to answer. Kris Jenner, Kim, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie entered, all dressed up, each carrying gifts and bottles of wine.

"Wow, Khloé, your house is amazing!" Kylie exclaimed as she looked around.

Kourtney nodded, impressed. "It really is. I don't think I've ever seen the environment so harmonious."

Kim, always observant, pointed out a detail. — That arrangement in the living room... Did you hire a new decorator?

Khloé smiled and shook her head. — Not at all. It was Jacob. He has a great eye for decoration and made some adjustments.

Kris's mouth fell open. — He decorated all of this?

— Not exactly, but he rearranged some furniture, moved pictures around, and suggested some lighting changes. I never would have guessed he had that talent.

As they settled into the living room for their aperitif, the topic of conversation inevitably turned to Jacob.

— So, he does it all? — Kim asked, laughing. — A man who is strong, handsome, can cook, and still knows how to decorate? That's not fair.

Kendall crossed her arms, amused. — I didn't know ex-military men could be so versatile.

Kris looked at Khloé with a smile. — You really got lucky. You know men like that are rare, right?

Khloé blushed, but couldn't help but smile proudly.

"I know. Sometimes I wonder if he's too good to be true."

Kourtney made an exaggerated face. "Well, considering Travis doesn't even know how to change a light bulb without my help, I'd say you're way ahead of the game."

They all laughed, while Khloé took the opportunity to brag a little.

Jacob appeared in the living room shortly after, carrying a tray of wine glasses. He was dressed casually, but with a natural elegance that suited the occasion perfectly.

"I hope you're enjoying the evening so far, ladies." He handed each of them glasses, keeping his warm smile.

"Jacob, we need to talk about this house." Kris was direct, pointing at him. "You have a flair for design that I would never expect from someone with your background."

Jacob shrugged modestly. "I guess it's because I like things organized." I've spent so much time in chaotic environments that I've learned to value order.

"Well, you nailed it. It looks amazing here," Kylie said, raising her glass in an impromptu toast.

The table was stunning, with a sophisticated yet welcoming feel. Jacob and Khloé had prepared a varied menu with dishes that would please everyone. There was a mix of family recipes and some new ideas Jacob had suggested, like a dish with Middle Eastern spices he'd learned from his travels.

"This is delicious!" Kim exclaimed as she sampled the main course.

"It was Jacob's idea. He brought these spices back from one of his trips abroad," Khloé said proudly.

Kourtney looked at Jacob with a curious expression. "Do you cook too?"

He laughed humbly. "A little. In the service, learning to cook was essential when we were on long missions."

"That's not 'a little,' Jacob. You cook better than half the restaurants in Los Angeles." — Khloé interjected, winking at him.

Kendall, always sarcastic, commented: — Okay, Jacob, seriously, you're ruining the market. What else do you know how to do?

Jacob looked at her with a playful smile. — Well, I can change a tire, build furniture, take care of a garden... and teach Arabic, if anyone needs it.

The women laughed, but Kris seemed genuinely impressed.

— Khloé, you found a man who is truly good at everything. I'd say that's worth celebrating.

Throughout dinner, the mood was relaxed and full of jokes. At one point, Kim turned to Khloé and said:

— Seriously, Khloé, you should teach classes on how to find men like that. Because so far you're beating all of us.

— That's true. — Kylie agreed, laughing. — I'm pretty sure Jacob is the most capable guy out of all the men we know.

— He is. — Khloé said, smiling as she looked at Jacob. — And most importantly, he makes me happy.

Jacob squeezed her hand gently under the table, making it clear that the feeling was mutual.

As the night came to a close, the Kardashians were visibly delighted not only with the dinner, but with the welcoming atmosphere Jacob had helped create.

"That was one of the nicest evenings we've had in a long time," Kris said as she hugged Khloé goodbye.

"Thanks, Mom. I loved it too."

Jacob walked the guests to the door, shaking each one's hand firmly and warmly.

"It was a pleasure to have you here. I hope we can do it again soon."

Kourtney winked at Khloé before leaving. "With a host like him, we can do this every week."

When everyone had left, Khloé and Jacob remained in the living room, exhausted but satisfied.

"I think they like you even more now," Khloé said, leaning back on the couch.

Jacob smiled, sitting down next to her. "That's good, because I really like them too."

She held his hand, looking into his eyes. — Thank you for making this so special.

He kissed her forehead, responding with the simplicity that was typical of him. — Always, Khloé. Always.

Chapter 29 – Jacob, the Repair Master

It was a quiet morning in Khloé and Jacob's house. The sun's rays illuminated the well-decorated spaces, and Khloé was in the kitchen making coffee while Jacob read the news on his phone. Suddenly, the lights started flickering.

"Oh no…" Khloé sighed, turning to Jacob. "I think something's wrong with the electrical wiring."

Jacob looked up at the ceiling, noticing the lights flickering and then turning off completely.

"Yeah, looks like we have a problem. I'll take a look."

Khloé crossed her arms, tilting her head. "You? Jacob, that's for an electrician. I'll call someone."

Jacob gave her a calm smile as he stood up. "You don't have to spend money on this, honey. I know what to do."

She raised her eyebrows. "You know? Since when are you an electrician?"

He shrugged, grabbing a toolbox from the closet. — Since the service. We had to know how to do everything in the field: fix generators, install communication systems... even improvise explosives. Compared to this, a home electrical panel is child's play.

Khloé let out a surprised laugh. — Explosives? Jacob, seriously, sometimes I forget who you are.

He winked at her as he walked over to the electrical panel. — Relax. Just trust me.

Jacob opened the electrical panel with the precision and assurance of someone who had dealt with much more complicated situations. Khloé, curious, followed him into the garage, watching as he examined the cables and connections.

"So, what's wrong, Mr. Navy Seal?" she joked, leaning against the door.

He pointed to a burnt wire. "Looks like one of the main cables overheated. That must have caused the short circuit."

"And you think you can fix this yourself?"

"Sure. I need to replace this wire and check the connections in the rest of the house to make sure there are no other trouble spots."

Khloé crossed her arms in amazement. "You really know everything, don't you?"

He chuckled as he got to work. "I don't know everything, but I know enough to save you a few hundred dollars today."

With a flashlight clipped to his shirt pocket, Jacob began carefully disconnecting the burned wires, explaining each step to Khloé as he worked.

"When you're on a mission, you have to be independent. You can't always call in an expert, so we learned the basics of everything: electrical, plumbing, mechanical…"

"And explosives, of course," Khloé added, laughing.

"Exactly." He gave her a mischievous grin. "But luckily, this situation doesn't require anything that explodes."

Khloé shook her head, still impressed. "Seriously, Jacob, you're like a real-life superhero."

He raised an eyebrow. — You know that heroes usually wear capes, right?

She laughed out loud. — Well, you don't need a cape. I think the title of "man who knows everything" is enough.

While Jacob continued working, Khloé decided to take a walk around the house to see what other things he had fixed or adjusted. She remembered how he had fixed the garage door when it refused to close and how he had refurbished one of the old chairs she had almost thrown away.

When she returned to the garage, he had already finished replacing the cable and was testing the lights.

"There, honey. All fixed," Jacob said as he tightened the last screw on the panel.

The lights came on immediately, shining brightly. Khloé smiled brightly.

"Jacob Ward, you are amazing."

He smiled and shrugged. "It's just practice, Khloé. Nothing major."

She leaned closer, cupping his face in both hands. "It's more than that." It's the fact that you always solve everything calmly, confidently and skillfully. I don't know what I did to deserve you.

He laughed, kissing her on the forehead. — You're everything I need. That's why I make a point of taking care of you and everything around us.

After putting away the tools, Jacob went back to the living room, where Khloé had already made coffee for them both.

—Here, a coffee as a thank you to the best electrician, mechanic and superman in the world.

He accepted the cup with a smile. — Thank you, but I prefer to think of myself as a "handyman".

Khloé sat down next to him on the couch, sighing happily.

— Honestly, Jacob, I don't know how I lived without you before. You're the whole package.

He raised an eyebrow. — And I thought that was an exaggeration when you said that.

She laughed, leaning back against him. — It's not an exaggeration. It's the truth.

As they relaxed on the couch, Jacob put his arm around her, squeezing her lightly.

"Well, next time something breaks, you know. You don't need a repairman. You just need me."

"That's good to know," Khloé said, smiling.

And there, in that quiet moment, Khloé realized once again how much Jacob was the perfect partner someone who not only loved and cared for her, but was always ready to face any challenge by her side.

Chapter 30 – "The Kardashian Family Handyman"

Khloé Kardashian was laughing as she stirred her coffee in the kitchen of Kris Jenner's house. It was the day of the traditional family lunch, and her sisters, as well as her mother, were gathered around the table. The room was filled with side conversations and occasional laughter, but Khloé had something funny to share.

"So, let me tell you," Khloé began, catching everyone's attention. "Last night, the lights started flickering in my house. I thought I was going to have to call an electrician and spend a fortune. But do you know what happened?"

Kim, who was checking her phone, looked up curiously. "What?"

"Jacob fixed it all by himself," Khloé said with a proud smile.

Kris, who was serving juice, looked at Khloé with a surprised look. "What do you mean, by himself? He's an electrician now?"

"He can do everything, Mom." — Khloé replied, laughing. — He replaced a burnt wire in the electrical panel, tested all the connections in the house and got everything working perfectly. He said that fixing things like that was routine for him back in the Navy.

Kylie's eyes widened. — Are you serious? He fixed everything himself?

— Seriously. — Khloé nodded. — I didn't even have to spend a dime.

Kendall leaned forward, interested. — Wait a minute... Jacob knows how to do electrical work?

Khloé smiled slightly, enjoying the admiration on her sisters' faces. — Not just electrical work. He's fixed the garage door, the bathroom plumbing... Oh, and once he even fixed the leaky faucet.

Kim laughed. — My God, he's like a domestic superhero.

Kylie, with a thoughtful look, rested her chin on her hands. — I wonder if he can fix some things around the house too? My washing machine has been making a weird noise for weeks now.

Kendall immediately chimed in. "And my porch light keeps going out out of nowhere. Would Jacob mind checking it out?"

Khloé laughed, holding up her hands as if she were being bombarded with requests. "Wait a minute, guys! He's my boyfriend, not some Kardashian techie!"

Kris, who had been listening intently, laughed out loud. "Well, if he likes fixing things, maybe he does it for fun?"

As the sisters ate lunch, Khloé continued to tell them about Jacob's many talents.

"He joked that if he could improvise explosives on missions, fixing electrical wires is child's play."

Kim's eyes widened. "Explosives? That's both scary and impressive."

Kylie snorted, leaning back. "I'm officially jealous. All the men I've dated can barely use a drill, let alone fix explosives or electrical wiring."

Kendall laughed. "I think Khloé really hit the jackpot with Jacob."

Khloé smiled, blushing a little. "You have no idea. He's so thoughtful, he goes out of his way to make my life easier… And he's gorgeous, too, as you know."

Kris, who was enjoying her salad, sighed. "Looks like you finally found someone who appreciates you, Khloé."

"I did," Khloé replied firmly.

As the conversations continued, Kendall and Kylie couldn't give up on the idea of involving Jacob in their household chores.

"Okay, but seriously, Khloé," Kendall said. "Ask him if he can check my porch light."

Kylie nodded. "And my washing machine. I promise I'll pay for his time."

Khloé rolled her eyes, but she was laughing. — I'll talk to him, but I'm not promising anything. He's not going to become the Kardashians' handyman, okay?

Kim joked. — I think we should hire him officially. He can be the family's exclusive technician.

Khloé laughed out loud, imagining Jacob's reaction to the idea. — I don't know if he'd accept it. He's already had enough patience with me.

That night, Khloé came home to find Jacob relaxing on the couch, watching a documentary about military history.

"Hey, honey," she said as she took off her shoes and plopped down next to him.

"Hey. How was lunch?" he asked, turning off the TV to give her his full attention.

Khloé laughed, resting her head on his shoulder. — It was great, but you became the main topic.

Jacob raised an eyebrow. — Me? Why?

She began to tell him, laughing. — I told him about the problem with the electrical wires and how you fixed it. Now Kendall and Kylie want you to fix things around their house."

Jacob laughed, shaking his head. "So I've become the Kardashian family electrician?"

"Apparently so," Khloé replied, still laughing.

Jacob put an arm around her, pulling her closer. "Well, if it means spending more time with you and your family, I guess I can consider it."

Khloé smiled, feeling even luckier to have Jacob by her side. "You really are the best, you know that?"

He kissed her the top of her head. — I do what I can, Khloé. I do what I can.
