Chapter 11 - Chapter 31-32-33

Chapter 31 – "The Handyman at Work"

Jacob Ward stood in the living room of Kendall Jenner's house, looking up at the ceiling with a slight frown. He had already inspected the outside light box and was now trying to track down the source of the problem Kendall had mentioned. She was sitting on a nearby bench, her legs crossed and a look of pure curiosity on her face.

"So, do you think you can fix it?" Kendall asked, holding a cup of iced tea.

Jacob gave a slight smile as he adjusted his toolbox on the floor. "It's nothing too complicated. It looks like a wire has lost contact. I just need to check a few connections."

Kendall laughed. "Okay, but if you see anything strange up there, let me know. This house is old and sometimes I feel like it has a life of its own."

Jacob chuckled softly, climbing up on a portable ladder he had brought from his house. "If there's anything alive in here, I promise I'll fix it too." Fixing the Light

With the tools in hand, Jacob began to disassemble the porch light fixture, where the problem seemed to be. He quickly identified that the grounding wire was poorly connected.

Meanwhile, Kendall watched him from below, impressed by his efficiency.

"You really know how to do everything, don't you?" she asked, genuinely curious.

Jacob glanced at her, still focused on the work. "In the Navy, you learn to be creative. It doesn't matter if it's assembling a piece of equipment or fixing something in the middle of nowhere, you have to find a way."

"So this is like… survival?" Kendall asked.

"In a way, yes." Jacob replied, tightening the last screw. He climbed down the ladder and tested the switch. The light shone with full force. "There. Problem solved."

Kendall applauded, laughing. "Wow! I can't believe I've been dealing with this for months and you solved it in 15 minutes."

Jacob shrugged, putting away his tools. "It was no big deal."

Kendall walked him to the door with a smile. "Thanks a lot, Jacob. You're amazing. I'll recommend you for anything that needs fixing."

He laughed. "I hope this doesn't become my full-time job."

At Kylie's House After finishing up at Kendall's, Jacob headed to Kylie's house. There, he was greeted by Kylie herself and her daughter, Stormi, who was playing with a set of building blocks in the living room.

"The problem is in the laundry room," Kylie explained, leading Jacob through the house. "The machine makes a horrible noise and sometimes doesn't spin properly."

Jacob nodded as he placed his toolbox on the floor next to the washing machine. He watched it for a few seconds, studying its structure and listening to the peculiar sound it made when it started.

"It sounds like something in the drum. I'm going to open it up and take a look," Jacob said, kneeling down and picking up his tools.

As he worked, Kylie watched him with a mix of curiosity and admiration.

"You really are like a human Swiss Army knife, huh?" Kylie commented, crossing her arms.

Jacob smiled, not taking his eyes off his work. "I guess that's one way of looking at things."

Kylie leaned in a little, trying to understand what he was doing. "And how did you learn all this? Just in the Navy?"

"For the most part, yeah," Jacob replied. "But I've always enjoyed taking things apart and figuring out how they work. I guess that's why I enjoy doing these things."

After adjusting a few internal parts and tightening loose screws, Jacob tested the machine again. This time, the noise had disappeared, and the spin cycle worked perfectly.

Kylie clapped her hands together excitedly. "You just saved my life."

Jacob laughed, standing up and dusting his hands. "I was just doing my job."

Kylie followed him back into the living room, where Stormi was now drawing on a piece of paper.

"Seriously, Jacob, thank you. You really are amazing," Kylie said, handing him a glass of water.

"No need to thank me. It's always nice to help," he replied, accepting the water.

When Jacob returned home, Khloé was in the kitchen, tossing a salad. She smiled when she saw him come in.

"So, how did it go with Kendall and Kylie?" she asked.

Jacob set the toolbox down and sighed, laughing. "Mission accomplished. Kendall now has a porch light, and Kylie's washing machine works like new."

Khloé laughed, shaking her head. "I'm turning you into the family techie, huh?"

"Looks like it," Jacob replied, leaning in to kiss her.

Khloé looked at him with an amused smile. "Did they say anything about hiring you officially?"

Jacob shrugged. — Not this time, but I think they're considering it.

They both laughed, enjoying the moment of relaxation. Khloé felt a wave of gratitude as she realized how much Jacob did not only for her, but for her family as well.

"I really am so lucky to have you," she said softly.

Jacob pulled her into a hug, smiling. "And I am lucky to have you, Khloé.

They stood there for a few moments, hugging, before Khloé started laughing again.

"But seriously, next time, I'm going to start charging for you. After all, a coach like you doesn't come cheap."

Jacob laughed, shaking his head. "Make arrangements with them. Maybe I can get a discount on family dinners?"

Khloé laughed, loving his sense of humor. She knew that Jacob had not only become a part of her life, but also an important pillar for everyone around her.

Chapter 32 – "Tales of a Team Leader"

It was a quiet late afternoon at Kris Jenner's mansion. The entire Kardashian-Jenner family was gathered in the large living room, a rare moment when everyone had time to relax.

The children played on the floor with blocks and dolls, while the adults were spread out on the sofas and armchairs, enjoying a break from their busy routines.

Khloé was sitting next to Jacob, their hands intertwined as they shared a glass of wine. On the huge television, Kris had put on an episode of Seal Team, a series she loved.

"Oh, that series is amazing!" Kris commented, settling back in her armchair. "I always get tense watching it."

"They make it seem so real," Kendall added, as she put a piece of sushi in her mouth.

Jacob, who had been silent until then, watched the screen with a slight smile. It was an episode that featured an intense mission in the Middle East, and he couldn't help but notice the technical details, even though he knew some of it was dramatized for television.

Khloé noticed Jacob's smile and nudged him lightly. "What's wrong? Do you think it's funny?" she asked curiously.

Jacob chuckled softly. "Not really. It's just… it brings back memories."

The entire room went silent. All eyes turned to Jacob, intrigued.

"Memories?" Kourtney asked, leaning forward.

Jacob set his glass down on the table and looked at the screen. "Yes. Mark Owen, the producer and the character who is based on him in this show, served with me. He and I served together for a few years."

There was a surprised silence before Kris said, "Wait, you worked with the man the character in the show is based on?"

Jacob nodded, smiling. "Yes. Mark was one of the best operators I've ever met. He was methodical, quick, and always focused on the mission. I was his team leader for a while before he took over his own team."

"Wow," Kendall said, clearly impressed. "Was he like you? Like, super serious and full of skills?"

Jacob laughed. "He was a little different. Every operator has their own style. But yeah, he was incredibly skilled."

Khloé squeezed Jacob's hand lightly. "You've never mentioned that before."

"These are things I don't usually share. But watching this, it's hard not to remember," he replied.

As the conversation continued, the series showed a scene in which the character Trent performed a complicated operation. Jacob pointed to the screen, smiling.

"And this guy, the actor who plays Trent… I've met him. He's not just an actor, actually. He was a Delta operator in real life."

Kylie's eyes widened. "Really?"

Jacob nodded. — Yes. He is extremely skilled. I met him at a joint training event many years ago. In fact, it was a surprise to me when I saw him acting in the series.

Kris, always curious, leaned forward. — Was he as good in the field as you?

Jacob shrugged, smiling modestly. — We all had our specialties. He was excellent at what he did.

Kim, who until then had been more focused on her cell phone, looked up. — What about you? Have you ever done anything that appears in these series?

Jacob laughed. — Many times. Some of these stories are based on real missions, with changes to preserve confidentiality. For example, I once participated in an operation similar to the one they showed now. Of course, in real life, it is not so cinematic.

The children had already been taken to another room, and the conversation became more serious. Jacob spoke briefly about the weight of leading teams in extreme situations. — Being a leader means that you carry the responsibility for all the lives under your command. You can't make mistakes. Every decision matters.

Kourtney asked, concerned: — Didn't it leave you completely exhausted?

Jacob nodded. — Absolutely. That's why, after 18 years, I had to stop. The body and mind reach a point where they need to rest.

Khloé put her hand on Jacob's shoulder in a gesture of support. — And now you're here, with us.

He smiled at her, grateful. — Exactly.

Kris looked at Jacob with admiration. — Jacob, I have to say, you are the most interesting man we've ever met.

"I agree," Kim said, laughing. "And we've met a lot of people."

Jacob laughed modestly. — I'm not that interesting. I've just had some different experiences.

Kendall joked: — Different experiences? Is that a euphemism for being a real hero?

Jacob shook his head, still smiling. — The job wasn't about being a hero. It was about doing what was necessary.

When the episode ended, Kris turned off the television, but the conversation remained lively. Everyone was clearly impressed by Jacob's stories and his role in the real world that had so often been portrayed in series and films.

Khloé watched him with pride in her eyes. She knew that behind all of Jacob's modesty, there was a man who had lived and survived extraordinary situations.

That night, as everyone said goodbye and slowly left, Khloé approached Jacob and whispered:

"You're amazing, you know that?"

He smiled, pulling her into a hug. "I'm just me, Khloé."

But to her, Jacob was much more than just himself. He was everything she had ever wanted and more.

Chapter 33 – "Night of Fire"

It was a quiet night in Khloé and Jacob's house. The kids had already gone to bed, and the comfortable silence filled the room. Khloé was in the kitchen, finishing washing a glass of wine while Jacob was on the couch, flipping through a magazine about classic cars.

She watched Jacob for a moment, admiring the way his muscles were visible even under the simple t-shirt he wore. He looked so relaxed, but at the same time he exuded that intense presence that made her feel butterflies in her stomach every time she looked at him.

"What are you reading there?" Khloé asked, with a teasing smile.

Jacob looked up and smirked. "An article about a Mustang Shelby. Nothing very interesting."

She walked over, drying her hands on a cloth, and leaned in to kiss him softly on the cheek. "You seem too focused for something that's not interesting."

He laughed, putting the magazine aside and pulling her to sit on his lap. — Maybe I'm just pretending to be interested to tease you.

Khloé laughed, but the intensity in Jacob's eyes quickly changed the mood between them. He slid one of his hands down her back, stopping at the curve of her waist, his eyes scanning her with desire.

"You look absolutely beautiful tonight, you know that?" he murmured, his voice deep and full of intent.

Khloé bit her lower lip, feeling the energy between them change. "Oh, yeah? What made you realize that now?"

Jacob leaned in to kiss her, softly at first, then more intensely. His hands tightened around her waist, pulling her closer, and she could feel the strength of his body against hers.

"I think I noticed it from the moment you walked into the room today," he replied between kisses, his voice growing hoarse. "You always make me so… crazy."

Khloé felt a wave of heat rise through her body. She loved the way Jacob made her feel desired, like she was the only woman in the world for him.

Jacob stood up from the couch, holding Khloé in his arms with ease, as if she weighed nothing.

"Jacob!" she exclaimed, laughing. "What are you doing?"

"Taking you where we can continue this without interruptions," he replied, with a mischievous smile.

He carried her to the bedroom, placing her gently on the bed before leaning over her. Their lips met again, and this time the kisses were even more intense. Khloé felt Jacob's strong hands explore her body, moving up the sides of her thighs and passing over the curve of her waist.

"Do you have any idea what you do to me?" he asked, his voice low as he kissed her neck.

"I have a vague idea," she replied teasingly, pulling him closer.

Jacob chuckled softly, but soon went back to kissing her passionately, his hands sliding over her soft skin. He loved the way she responded to his every touch, how she gave herself completely to him.

Khloé pulled his shirt off, revealing his defined abs and the scars that told stories of his past life. She loved the combination of strength and vulnerability that Jacob represented, and in that moment, all she wanted was to lose herself in him.

The heat between them grew with each passing second. Jacob was intense, but at the same time careful, making sure that every touch, every movement, was perfect for Khloé.

"You drive me crazy, you know that?" she whispered, arching her body against him.

"That's exactly what I want," Jacob replied with a confident smile.

They both gave themselves completely to each other, exploring every corner of their bodies and deepening the connection they had. For Khloé, being with Jacob was unlike anything she had ever experienced. He not only made her feel wanted, but also safe and loved in a way she had never felt before.

The room was filled with sighs, low laughter, and whispered declarations. Every moment felt charged with passion and intimacy, and Khloé felt as if the outside world had disappeared, leaving only the two of them.

After the Ecstasy Hours later, the two of them were lying in bed, entwined under the sheets. Jacob ran his fingers through Khloé's hair, a soothing gesture that she loved.

"You really are the man of my dreams, you know that?" she said, looking up at him with a satisfied smile.

Jacob laughed, kissing her forehead. "I just want to make you happy, Khloé."

"And you're succeeding," she replied, snuggling closer.

Jacob hugged her tightly, as if he never wanted to let her go. To him, Khloé was much more than a beautiful and famous woman. She was his partner, someone with whom he felt he could be himself, without masks or barriers.

"I love you, Khloé," he said softly, looking into her eyes.

She smiled, feeling her heart fill with joy. "I love you too, Jacob."
