It's been a week since I've seen Saru, and I hope she's doing well. I feel like this is all coming to an end. While lying on my couch and reflecting on everything, I suddenly remembered that I have some library books I had borrowed earlier. I decided to return them, but it was just an excuse; I wanted to see Saru. I miss her.
I just put the books into my bag and headed to the library. I reached the library within half an hour. When I arrived, I went to Saru's desk and overheard someone asking about her. It was Abhimanyu, that IIT IIM boy. He was inquiring about Saru, and the other girl who also worked there replied, "She has the flu; she is on leave." After hearing that, I felt worried and confused as to why Saru hadn't called me. I also wondered why that silly boy was asking about her.
I didn't take a second to think and headed straight to Saru's apartment. I reached as soon as I could, rang the doorbell, and there she was with her hair loosely braided, some strands falling across her face, and spectacles covering her eyes. I could tell she was sick. After seeing me, she calmly said, "Hi, come in!"
I replied, somewhat frustrated, "Why didn't you tell me you were sick? Where have you been for so many days?" She lay back in a chair and responded, "It's nothing serious, just a mild fever." As I started checking the medicine she had, I asked, "That IIT IIM boy is searching for you." She looked surprised and said, "What, Abhimanyu?" I continued, "Yep! Is he bothering you? Does he have your mobile number?" She gave me a weird expression and replied, "No." She then moved out onto the balcony and started watering the plants. I stopped her and said, "Saru, I want you to meet one of my friends. He has excellent qualifications and has also done IIT." She looked at me and said, "Are you arranging a boy for me?" I replied, "No, it's not like that. I just want to see you happy." She gave me a small smile and said, "Okay, I will meet him."
After saying all this, I told her to take a rest, and if she needed me, she could call me anytime. Then, I left her apartment and called my friend Akash to meet her.
