Alger raised an eyebrow as he looked at Lily. The two of them were in the same room, with Lily still hesitating to pack her belongings to move into Alger's room.
"Why?"
Lily, who had been lost in thought, immediately looked at Alger with a grimace and placed her belongings back on the table.
"I think there's no need for me to move rooms, Sir."
"Why? You're my wife, so isn't it natural for us to share a room?" Alger replied, standing in the doorway of Lily's room.
"In terms of religion and the law, we are indeed married. But out there, no one knows about our relationship except as a secretary and her boss."
Alger raised an eyebrow with a mischievous smile. The man immediately stepped into Lily's room.
"Do you want our relationship to go public? I can make it happen, as long as..."
"As long as?" Lily cut in, scooting backward to put some distance between them.
But Alger wouldn't be Alger if he didn't trap her with that sly smile of his.
"Can you not come so close, Sir?"
