Simon finished preparing and met up with Lucia, who was nervous and blushing, looking side to side. Lucia spotted him waved nervously and smiled at him
"Simon over here! Hi! How were you?
Simon walked up to Lucia and greeted her with a smile, Simon's smile made Lucia flustered once more and made her happy
" Good morning Lucia, it's a beautiful morning don't you agree?"
Lucia responded with a sweet and flustered voice hinting at her nervous behaviour
"I agree; how are you this morning, Simon?"
Simon responds with a nervous voice thinking back to what happened earlier with the book
"It's been- well, fine, I guess, though I am a bit stressed."
Lucia looked at Simon with concerned eyes and her voice came out caringly
"Is there any way I can help you?"
Simon smiled at her and dismissed it
"No not really, but I think I'll be fine"
Lucia looked at Simon worriedly and ignored it for now
"Oh alright, but let's wait because your family is going to pick you up. Let's go to a coffee shop to wait."
Simon nodded his head and agreed to go to a coffee shop named Emberbrew
"Alright then, let's go I know a good spot around here."
Lucia followed Simon and they walked together side by side till they went to the coffee shop
Once they got to the coffee shop Simon greeted someone
"Good morning Elias"
Elias who is a man in his 50s, was tall, and broad-shouldered with gray Auburn hair and warm amber eyes smiled at Simon caringly
"Ah, good morning, Simon; it's been a while since you came here; I missed my favorite customer. How have you been?"
Simon smiled at him and responded respectfully
*I've been well, oh and this is Lucia Dravenheart."
Simon introduces Lucia to Elias with an innocent voice
"Ah you're Lucia, I've seen you on tv, didn't expect my childish boy to have a cute girlfriend by now, I'm Elias Hawthorne"
Both Lucia and Simon blushed deeply and stuttered with their words
"E-elias what are you talking about?!"
All Lucia could take out of her mouth were whimpered mumbles due to her blushing and overthinking.
Elias laughs heartily and responds with a calm voice
"So, how have you been, Simon? And what would you like?"
Simon smiles at Elias and responds with a caring voice
"I've been fine, and I would like a Soulfire espresso"
Elias nods and writes it down. He then turns to Lucia and asks her
"How about you, young lady? What would you like?"
Lucia smiles and responds to Elias with a calm voice
"I'd like what Simon also got"
Elias writes it all down and announces to them
"Alright then I'll bring them to you in a minute"
Simon and Lucia went to a vacant table and sat down.
"So Simon how did you meet Elias?"
Simon's face turned sad with a hint of gratefulness
"Well I met him when I was thrown away by my family and so he became a sort of father figure to me"
Lucia felt guilty for asking that to Simon.
"Oh, I'm sorry for asking. It must've been hard for you, huh?"
Before Simon says anything Elias walks up and serves the coffee
"Here it is, and don't worry about paying it's in the house."
Simon smiles at Elias and thanks him
"Thanks, Elias."
Elias smiles at him and then goes on to other orders
As Lucia took a sip she was shocked
"What is this? The flavour is sweet and it also relieved some of my fatigue
Simon smiles and adds
"It's amazing right? I swear the old man just has that talent"
A few minutes pass of them talking peacefully until Lucia remembers something
"Hey Simon I'm sorry"
Simon is confused and asks her
"For what?"
Lucia looks at her with guilt in her eyes
"For abandoning you... All those times when you were hurt and bullied I always ignored it... Like I wasn't even you're friend... I'm sorry... Like really sorry..."
Simon smiles at her and looks at her with merciful eyes
"Hey, it's fine... You my friend, I forgive you..."
Lucia smiles at him and thanks hun deeply before hugging him across the table
"Thanks, Simon"
As they were having a sweet moment they were interrupted by a stern voice
"Simon, Lucia it's time to go to the Velthorne estate"
The both of them turned their heads in the direction of the voice and saw Alistair Crowe the head butler of the Velthornes
"It's time now, Master Simon. It's time to go home."
Without further delay, Lucia and Simon followed Alistair to the car
"So, Master Simon, how have you been?"
Simon nervously answers to Alistair
"I've been fine after all these times that passed"
Alistair looked at Simon with a weird look and suggested to Simon
"Simon you better throw away that cowardly attitude if you don't want to be eaten alive by your siblings"
Simon responds with a quick
"Alright"
As they arrive at the estate, Alistair leads them to the lobby, and Simon goes around exploring the regal and beautiful estate before going to the garden with Lucia.
"It's so beautiful here like how it was in the past"
suddenly behind the bushes a woman dressed in simple yet elegant robes comes out, she has a graceful yet imposing presence, and along with that she has a raven-black hair tied in intricate patterns and she looked stunning with violet eyes piercing through the nights glow.
The woman looks shocked yet happy seeing Simon
"Simon, is that you?"
Simon realized who it was and smiled at her
"Selene! Sister!"
Simon ran up to her hugged her and felt safe with with Selene
"Oh, Simon... I've missed you... How have you been?"
Simon kept hugging her and hid his face in her stomach before Selene could say anything Simon shushed her up
"Shut up I missed you..."
Selene smiled at him sweetly and kept hugging him
"Fine, I missed you too brat..."
