As they were having a moment Selene cupped Simon's face and stared at his mystic blue eyes. As she stared deeply she saw unshed tears tainting his beautiful face.
"You've missed me that much haven't you?"
Simon felt relieved and happy to see his beloved sister after years of being apart. He then smiles weakly at her
"Of course, how couldn't I? Even after I was thrown away by Father you still protected me dearly like a priceless treasure."
Selene smiled at him, and her voice had a Sweet and loving tone yet had threatening and menacing warming to those foolish enough to her little brother.
"Oh, what is this? My little brat knowing something he shouldn't know? How did you know? If so, you might have already known why some of your bullies left you alone, eh?"
Simon was taken aback yet his love didn't falter
"I've already known for a very long time. After all, how could I not recognize the power of some of the magical formulas I gave to my older sister?"
Selene's purple eyes were obstructed with an obsessive gaze and even her voice spiraled into pure obsession and overprotection
"Any longer and those pricks foolish enough to hurt my little brother would have experienced a bad death~"
Simon gulped and sweated nervously, knowing damn well what his sister could do and done, yet he felt something off; even though he knew his sister was obsessive, something was off.
"By whatever do you mean sis?..."
Selene's vibe had a complete 360 from wholesome and loving to obsessive and overprotective; by now, Simon was sweating bullets.
"Y'know the times when someone tried to kidnap you~ let's just say they didn't have a great end and saw a little too much of what was under their skin~"
Selene's mana thickened making Simon hazy and scared, but she tried to calm him down by softly petting his head
"Are you, scared? Don't be your big sis is always here for you my dear~"
Simon was alarmed, knowing this was one of the side effects of her mysterious power. Simon desperately looked back, trying to signal help from Lucia, but he realized she had been unconscious for some time now.
"Hey, sis! This isn't the time to play around!!"
Selene gives Simon an obsessive and overprotective smile
"What do you mean? I'm not playing around?"
Before Selene does anything bad he quickly takes a step back and tackles her to the ground safely knocking her out
Later Selene and Lucia woke up with Simon waiting by their side, they both asked him at the same time
"Is everything fine now?... "
Selene and Lucia stared at each other and argued with each other like how they used to in the past, Selene first started it, and then Lucia counters
"Hey Lucia why are you so clingy with my little bro"
"What do you mean? Look at yourself! You were so obsessive earlier. Are you sure you are just a sibling?!"
Selene looked offended and pouted before responding
"Shut up! First, that was just the side effect. Second, was it wrong for me to care for my little brother? Third your disgusting for thinking that way."
Lucia scoffs and responds
"Yeah, right. How could anybody not think that?!"
Simon tries to interfere
"Could both of you please calm do-"
Yet they both didn't back down and shouted at him
"Shut up Simon!"
As they kept arguing they felt the air chill around Simon and they realized it was time for them to be silent
"Thank you."
But later as Simon was taking a rest they were arguing and shouting at each other again
"Fine... I'll meet Father now..."
He walks out of the room and explores the estate walking down memory lane until his peaceful time is interrupted
"Wouldn't you look at this~ why is the generational dumbass back in the estate!"
Simon turned around, realizing who had just mocked him, and he saw a man with silver hair and piercing blue eyes wearing dark duelist armor, light yet sturdy, He examined the man's face and was sure of who it was due to his arrogant and ever-present smirk. He knows it is Lucian Velthorne
"Lucian... So it was you... "
Lucian with his smirk scoffs arrogantly and cruelly mocks his abilities
"For someone who was kicked out because of being born magically crippled you have a lot of nerve showing your face around here, Haven't you learned your lesson~"
Simon grinds his teeth with hostility and stares at Lucian with hateful eyes, before Simon can even react Lucian already has his concealed rapier by Simon's throat
"You know all too well you can't face me brother after all what could a cripple do to someone like me~"
Simon bluffs yet gulps nervously staring down his older brother
"Yeah, I think I could beat you~"
Lucian is taken aback but takes on Simon's bet
"Yeah, well, why don't we test that?"
Before Lucian could respond any longer, he was soon shut down by a tall and regal-looking man who had raven-black hair streaked with silver; the man was wearing a white and black robe covered in gold lines and enchanted with a Velthorne rune that changed the robe into a different form when activated. His eyes glowed a faint violet unlike Selene's purple and violet eyes piercing through the darkness of the night. Simon remembered it was his oldest brother Eldric Velthorne
"Lucian shut up! What are you doing? He is useless enough. You don't need to talk to someone useless; this is pointless and time-consuming."
Simon kept provoking the silent Lucian till he snapped, and Eldric was quite angry at Simon, who he thought was still crippled, for daring to fight someone like them. Eldric responds to Simon
"Fine, if you truly want death, then I shall give it to you. It seems I have to teach a cripple how to act properly I will break you until you act properly."
