Third person's POV
Moira walked out of her office, her face set with determination. It was a few hours after she returned to the office from Mason Bradley's residence.
Katherine and Calix who had been reviewing a case file together looked up at her.
"You both can close up and go home. I will be staying late this evening." Moira announced.
Katherine looked up with concern. Calix, however, instantly brightened.
"Perfect timing! I've got that family dinner thing tonight. Are you sure you don't need me for anything else, Mrs. Sinclair?" He asked, already sliding his laptop into his bag.
"No, Calix. Go ahead." Moira replied.
"Thanks! See you tomorrow!" He said excitedly, practically bolting for the door, leaving Katherine alone with Moira.
Katherine watched Moira carefully then asked;
"This is about Mrs. Bradley's case, isn't it?"
Moira didn't answer immediately, just gave Katherine a look that made it clear the discussion was over before it started.
