John finally left with that woman after saying that he would call me and come back here. Unfortunately, I couldn't hold on to that line for too long because even when I was discharged from the hospital, he didn't show at all.
I hated him, but I hoped that some miracle would bring him back, even though Hell was still haunting him.
"Are you ready?" asked Jayme, who had been accompanying me to the hospital since yesterday and was willing to take me home today. I nodded and stepped slowly, holding his hand because I felt my body was still weak. It wasn't my physical condition that made me weak, but the pain in my heart that managed to make me fragile.
We traveled wordlessly. Although Jayme tried to make conversation several times, it didn't interest me at all.
