As soon as one of the beasts' eyes laid unto the light that orb was emitting, it began to charge forward, winding it's arm with a sword up targeting Rocky seeing him as the weakest one of the group.
Jake shoots his fire orb hitting the face of the beast charging. Simultaneously, he creates another one to maintain the light.
The beast staggered a bit but everyone could see that the fire didn't scathe the beast's face. Eventually it continue charging towards them swinging its sword.
Aziel dashed forward trying to block the beast's attack by using his earth magic. However, the beast just smashed the earth shield.
"Rocky, do you know how to kill a Nuckelavee!?" Aziel yelled towards Rocky who was cowering beside the monolith.
"I believe water is the only element that can harm those beasts. And by your earth magic and Jake's fire, we had no chance of killing one of them, let alone those many numbers." Rocky responded while cowering in fear.
"Alright. Jake, on my signal carry Rocky outside. Don't worry about me, I will be right behind you." Aziel yelled towards Jake.
"Why me?" Jake protested on Aziel's decision.
"Just do it!" Aziel snapped.
"Tsk. Okay!" Jake run towards Rocky and grabbed him, as he wait for Aziel's signal.
Aziel waited for all the beasts to come inside the chamber-like area. However, the beasts weren't waiting like he was, and came charging towards them.
Aziel blocks the path with his earth magic, only to find out that it wasn't doing pretty well against those resilient beasts.
"Tsk! Come on! Come on!"
Aziel was agitated because it was his very first time protecting someone else other than himself against many strong opponent.
Nuckelavee was attacking him from left to right, making it more difficult to defend.
When Aziel took a quick look at the entrance and saw that no more Nuckelavee was coming in, he did something that no one could possibly do in the whole world.
He casts a massive earth magic that encloses the beasts. However, Aziel knew that it won't last, so he look at Jake and shouted.
"Now!"
Jake lifted Rocky, placed him in his shoulder, and run towards the exit.
Jake reach the exit of the chamber when he noticed that Aziel wasn't behind him.
"Aziel, let's go!"
Jake shouted when he saw Aziel running towards the monolith.
"Alright man! Go! I'll be right behind you!"
"Be quick!" Jake yelled before running.
Aziel touched the monolith and shrunken it into a carryable size. He then picked the shrunken monolith and followed Jake.
"I can't let them follow us behind. Better safe than sorry."
Aziel casts his Ice magic enclosing the beasts once more.
"If water element that can kill them, I think Ice can do it as well. But, I won't kill them. Confining them is good for now."
Aziel was about to follow his two friends when he heard Jake and Rocky's shout simultaneously.
"What!? Are there any beasts left there? I thought that was all of the beasts. Damn it!"
Aziel uses another magic element to hurry in his friend's aid, and this time it was wind magic.
Aziel propelled himself towards Jake's location.
"Damn! How far did those two run!?"
Aziel grumbled as he went past the first chamber and saw that Jake wasn't there.
However, a little while later, Aziel reached Jake and Rocky's location, where he saw Rocky lying on the floor, and Jake was facing against a single Nuckelavee that was left behind guarding the bodies they killed.
"Jake! Out of the way!"
Aziel shouted as his speed wasn't slowing down.
Jake heard it and saw Aziel from behind him dashing in a very fast speed. Subconsciously, he dropped and covered his head.
Aziel, with his momentum as leverage, launch an attack towards the beast. Using his earth magic, he created a huge rock and shrunk it into a very solid spearhead. Heating it with his fire magic and rotating it with his wind magic in a very fast rotation.
The scorching spearhead shoots out in a rapidly swift speed like a bullet towards the unawared beast. The bullet-like spearhead hits the Nuckelavee in its two heads at once and killed it.
The spearhead continues to travel towards the tunnel's ceiling and made a small hole in it until it disappeared.
"I'm sorry man! But I think this will be my last time coming inside a dungeon. I'm really not cut out for this." Jake quietly said, cowering in fear.
"That's okay, man. I have plans for you, so don't let your dreams end here like this."
Jake lifted his head and saw Aziel reaching out his hand. Jake couldn't do anything but cry as he grabbed Aziel's hand, and stood up.
"Before you say anything, I want you to remember this. We were originally at the first tunnel when heard screams coming from behind, so we rushed towards those screams and when we got here, we saw a beast guarding these bodies. Rocky screamed before collapsing from the sight of the dead bodies. And in the process, the beast saw us and attacked us as well. So we retaliate and killed the monster together using your fire magic and my earth magic." Aziel whispered in Jake's ear pointing towards the beast.
When Jake saw what has happened to the beast, he shouted again.
The beast had its human head blown and the horse head had a huge hole in the middle of it. Both holes was still blazing.
"What did you do!? How did you do it?" Jake was so shock to know that Aziel was so strong that he had killed a strong beast like Nuckelavee.
A beast that even he couldn't put a damage into was killed by Aziel singlehandedly.
"It's the fruit of constant hellish training, Jake. Do we have an agreement?"
"Y… yes."
"Alright."
Aziel nodded and went towards Rocky to heal him subtly as he lift him.
"What about the beast? Don't we need to bring it to the Academy?" Jake asked.
"Oh right. I believe if we can't bring the whole beast, it's most important body part is good enough as an evidence to get points. That said, you know anything about a Nuckelavee?"
Jake shook his head letting Aziel know that he doesn't.
"Okay. Maybe we'll wait for Rocky to wake up, he knows more about the important parts of the beasts than we are."
Aziel walked past the dead bodies and put Rocky closer to the entrance of the tunnel before crushing the gem of one of the dead bodies' bracelet.
