Chapter 27 - Teacher Aziel

Aziel was caught by his friends, so he was improvising by teaching these powers to his friends.

"You can even do that? Dude, who are you?"

"I will be your home teacher for the next five years, so be respectful towards me from now on. In our first dungeon raid, we experienced nothing compared to what's coming, so either you live in fear for that one or train like crazy in order to face that fear, you choose.

"What do you mean by 'what's coming', dude? Could you please elaborate?"

"You will be the one explaining to me what I mean by that word, Rocky. I believe you can start by figuring out what is written in this monolith."

Aziel hands over the shrunken monolith to Rocky.

"How did you get a miniature copy of the monolith?"

"That's not a copy but the monolith itself, Aziel shrunk it down into a carryable size when we were running away from the beasts."

"And now you're shrinking things? Dude, I won't be surprise at this point anymore."

Rocky immediately puts the monolith beside his book inside his study table's drawer.

The moment when Aziel was talking about something was coming, Rocky and Jake could see that Aziel tensed up after talking about that specific phrase.

"I you have more question, please ask right away because we don't have all day discussing something from the future. If you had no more questions, please decide whether you fight with me or not."

"Aziel, I promised you once that I will follow your orders because you saved me, and this life that I am living right now is basically yours. I will say it again but this time, I promise to follow your orders to improve myself so that one day I could stand by your side in battle!"

"I also had the same feelings as Rocky, Aziel. You save us both in many occasions, and I also want to use this second life serving under your shadow. Use your knowledge in teaching us how to be strong enough to stay by your side."

"Please use us as you see fit, Sir Aziel!"

Rocky and Jake simultaneously bowed their heads while kneeling in front of Aziel, answering with full of conviction.

Aziel blushed and smile by his friend's courage.

"Show me your resolve by following my training regimen until you couldn't anymore, due exhaustion. This training will be like hell, it could kill you, or you could even lost your mind because of how hard this training will be. But, if you could follow it, I promise, this current you will ceased to exist, and you don't have to worry about anything, I will guide you along the way,"

"Alright, now tell me your magic abilities, and also your weapons of choice. Starting from you Jake."

"I uses fire magic. I am not proficient with it, but I can still do the basics. And my weapon of choice is sword. I haven't wielded one yet, but I am a quick learning when it comes to physical activities."

"I can harden my skin, as hard as an iron. I can only maintain it for 10 seconds per day. My weapons of choice are gauntlets, or daggers, since I can harden my skin, I got used to hand to hand combat."

Aziel learned that all three of them had different weapon of choice, and teaching them how to use spear would take too much time, so Aziel decided to teach them magic first before moving towards weapons training. Furthermore, Aziel would have to learn weapons wielding from the books first before teaching his students.

"It seems we had different weapons of choice, so for now, let's train your body, and magic first, alright?"

"Now, listen to me very carefully. Your training regimen will have different sets in weekends, and weekdays."

"During weekends, you both will train your body in the morning, and we'll read books in the afternoon."

"During weekdays, we'll do mind training first thing in the morning before going to our classes."

"Jake, since you are in a different class during weekdays, I want you to train your body every single vacant time you have."

"And every night, we will be training magic until curfew."

"I will teach you how to wield your weapons when it's time."

"Now, if you have questions, ask right away because I won't entertain anymore questions after this. And we really have to start our training right away because we don't have all day."

Aziel stood up from his bed and was heading towards the door when Rocky asked his question.

"Man, isn't it dangerous having so many powers? I mean, every people I know only wields one power, and I believe that was the reality for everybody."

"He's right dude, if you display this much powers in the public, you will be in trouble."

"I know, and I am being very cautious with it. However, training you both to become stronger can only put my mind in peace because you are already my friends, and if anyone dares to do something evil to you when I am not around, and when that happens, I know you can protect yourselves."

Jake was crying after hearing Aziel's words.

"Dude. You are the manliest person I have ever met in my life, except for my father."

"You're right Jake, Aziel's doing this to protect us is fucking sentimental dude."

Rocky rubs his hand in Jake's back before asking another question.

"Anyways, can we really become strong like you?"

"Are you having doubts?"

"No, what I mean is that we all had limits, and when we reach that limit, it becomes impossible to move forward."

Jake was with Rocky in his argument.

"So you're thinking that your current stage right now is your limit?"

Rocky and Jake nodded in agreement.

"Well, your question will be answered eventually during training."

"You could be more specific dude." Jake argued.

"You can only improve yourselves if you set your minds right. The training that you will experience under my instruction will let you break through your physical limits. So the answer to your question is, yes. And, I will make you the strongest version of yourselves if you follow me. Are we clear?"

Rocky and Jake's eyes widens before they answered simultaneously.

"Yes, Sir! Thank you for your guidance!"

The two of them bowed their heads to Aziel before standing up.
