The tension from the day's accident still lingered in the air as the filming wrapped up. Snow rubbed the back of his neck, still unsettled by the threatening phone call. He hadn't told anyone yet—not even Liam or Aria. But one person approached him before he could leave.
"Snow."
Ryan's voice was casual, but his eyes held something deeper. "Are you okay? That light almost crushed you."
Snow sighed, shaking his head. "I'm fine. Just tired."
Ryan studied him for a moment before stepping closer. "Listen… I know we haven't talked much since you came back, but if something's wrong, you can tell me. You trust me, don't you?"
Snow hesitated. Ryan had been one of his closest friends back in the day. When his world crumbled, Ryan was one of the few people who had stayed in touch—at least for a while. But could he really tell him everything?
After a long silence, Snow finally spoke. "It's just… I don't think my parents' accident was really an accident."
Ryan's expression didn't change, but his fingers curled slightly. "What do you mean?"
"I mean," Snow exhaled, rubbing his temples, "I think someone wanted them dead. And now, whoever was behind it is coming after me too."
Ryan let out a low whistle, shaking his head. "Damn… that's heavy. But do you have proof?"
Snow frowned. "Not yet."
Ryan clapped a hand on his shoulder. "Then be careful, alright? Don't go digging too deep. You never know what you might find."
Snow nodded, appreciating the concern. "Thanks, Ryan."
As he turned to leave, he didn't hear Ryan whisper under his breath, a smirk playing on his lips.
"That's why you should just stay quiet and live your superstar life, you bastard."
