Kyo let out a deep sigh after the long talk. *"You know, at first, I never meant to treat you badly. You should've noticed that during the first two months of our relationship. So… what happened? What changed you?"* I asked.
*"Hold up, let me catch my breath,"* he said, adjusting his chair and pulling it closer to the barricade. *"Do you remember six months after your debut?"*
*"Yeah, what about it?"* I replied.
*"The boss asked you out, didn't he?"*
I froze. I'd never told him about the CEO's proposition.
*"Yeah, he did. I'm sorry I didn't tell you,"* I admitted. *"But I shouted at him that I had a boyfriend! I even threatened to quit if he kept harassing me."*
*"Why are you apologizing? It's not like anything's going on between us anymore,"* Kyo muttered. *"I heard from the secretary about the argument."*
It didn't last long before I was summoned to the CEO's office. He'd found out about our relationship. Then, he threatened me—dragged up some old drug scandal from my high school days. People had dismissed it as a rumor, but he claimed to have solid evidence.
At first, I resisted. But after two weeks, everything turned to hell. Sponsors pulled out. My career crumbled overnight.
Hearing Kyo recount it all left me stunned. I never knew he'd gone through that.
*"I didn't have a choice,"* he continued. *"I came back to him, pleading for mercy, it's my long-built career after all. But then he proposed that since you wouldn't leave me… I should send him nude pictures of you every week. He'd buy them from me and help revive my career. Said he was into BDSM, so I 'should know what kind of images to send.'"*
After complying with most of his demands, I got his support back. He moved me into powerful circles, got dragged into underground deals—same-sex relationships, underage affairs. The CEO escalated from pictures to videos, but I stalled, trying to secure some concrete insurance first.

I stared at him, speechless. *Was this an apology? Or just another twisted confession?*
Before I could respond, an officer entered—time was up.
Kyo stood, heading back inside, but paused. *"You should thank that evil-looking bar guy… Ha.....something Whatever, Anyway, I've already cooperated with the cops. They've got evidence on the CEO, but prosecution will take a while. You should terminate your contract while you can."*
With a faint smile, he said, *"Bye, Misaki,"* and left.
I sat outside the building, trying to process everything. *Maybe I should just forget it. This has already wasted too much of my time. I've got school on Monday.*
