Eadric's pov
I sat in my office sorting paperwork for the kingdom. A lot of transfers and a lot of rogue reports to go through.
I rubbed the bridge of my nose when a headache threatened to overwhelm me, I took a deep breath and continued looking through the report.
A knock on my door distracted me,
"Come in," I said.
The door opened to reveal one of my close guards entered and bowed his head,
"Your highness, the ministers are calling for a meeting to report the affairs."
I sighed, "Is there a reason why they need me there? They can always just write it down and let me know about it,"
He shook his head, "No, your majesty. They want you to be there,"
"Very well," a breath escaped my lips, "Let's go,"
He bowed one more time before letting himself out. I sighed to myself when I saw his shadow hovering outside the door. I stood and went with him to the throne room where they were already gathered.
When I entered, they all stood and bowed their heads.
