Chapter 32 - Bad News

[A Few Hours Later]

Our character comes home.

(I think I did it. What did I do? I don't know. Even though we joined this group, I still don't know anything. All I know is that they call themselves the Justice Society.)

(Sometimes life gives people different choices and changes their lives. I agree with this statement because maybe this decision I make will completely change my life or it will be a simple decision that won't affect anything. I will decide what happens.)

(Time to get some rest. I have school again tomorrow. I don't know when I will be able to leave this school environment; it's torture.)

Our character spends some time on his computer and then throws himself into bed and falls asleep.

[Next Morning]

Sarah: "****, wake up! It's time for school."

****: "Okay, Mom."

(The Matrix starts.)

Our character gets ready, leaves the house and gets in the school van.

Ethan: "Hey, ****."

****: "Hello, Ethan."

Ethan: "Today is Independence Day at school. Don't forget to come; the teacher told everyone."

****: "When?"

Ethan: "At lunch.

(How do people exercise their hard-earned independence? I'm not talking about schools; I'm talking about governments.)

Our character goes to his classroom and sits down.

Jack: "Hey, Leo. Rafael Voss, the bastard who killed Chloe, is getting out of prison."

Leo: "How's he getting out? He killed someone!"

Jack: "I don't know, man. He probably knows someone in the government; "That's how he got out."

Leo: Okay, by the way, that's bullshit.

Oliver: "If he didn't have an alibi from the government, he'd never get out."

(What? Rafael Voss is getting out of prison? Damn, what kind of justice is this? He killed a person! What am I going to do now? When he gets out, I'll definitely be his first target. I shouldn't let him out.)

(I wonder when this motherfucker is gonna come out? I've gotta ask someone.)

The teacher enters the classroom and the lesson begins.

(Some information you didn't know before: I'm sitting alone. There's no one sitting next to me, no one I can ask, so I need to find someone I can ask. I think I'll ask Jack, who knows about these things.)

During the lesson, our character tries to ask.

(But if I ask during the lesson, will it raise too much suspicion? (It's necessary to ask without raising suspicion.)
