In The Library, Light was flipping through the notebook given by Snape in the reading area. There were also a large number of reference books beside the table.
Blood is a product derived from the integration of the soul and the body. (Here, it means that blood is formed as a result of the combination of the two.) In ancient Dark Magic, there were also methods that utilized blood, converting both the soul and the body into blood to obtain blood with Magic Power.
It is also feasible to apply blood in reverse to the soul and the body, thereby achieving a healing effect.
Seeing this, Light couldn't help but rub his eyes, which had been staring at books for a long time.
"No wonder Voldemort was able to continuously split his soul to create Horcruxes and even fully resurrect when only a wisp of his soul remained. It seems he found a way to repair his soul using blood with Magic Power."
"Then I probably get the principle of Sectumsempra. It disrupts the connection between the soul and the body, causing the life force (blood) to leak out without a limit."
"That's why the injuries inflicted by Sectumsempra cannot be healed because the person who is struck is, in a sense, in a state of not being injured. It's more like a person who is born handicapped."
"Precisely because it doesn't call for treatment, no matter how much treatment is administered, it won't be effective. So an anti-curse needs to be cast to restore the connection between the two."
Light closed his own notebook filled with numerous notes. The book given by Snape was extremely precious. It recorded dozens of methods for extracting blood and analyzing the magic power of blood. It could be said to be Snape's life's knowledge.
It completely established a system that linked the soul, the body, and Spells based on blood.
"Sure enough, comparison is odious (a common Chinese expression meaning that comparing oneself with others can be really frustrating). While others are building their own magic systems at a young age, what about me? I'm still racking my brains over learning Dark Magic." Light sighed.
In the afternoon, Light trailed Snape to his office on time.
After Snape opened the door and let Light in, he stared at him intently.
"What's wrong, Professor?" Light asked, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"I won't teach you potions today. Instead, I'm going to teach you a spell. Come with me!" After saying that, Snape took the lead and walked out the door.
Light trailed Snape to an abandoned classroom.
"What I'm about to teach you today is 'Expecto Patronum'. Once you've learned it, I'll conduct spot checks anytime." Snape stared intently at Light with his empty eyes.
"Okay, I understand." Light obediently replied. Secretly thinking to himself: "If I can't use it during the spot check, are you going to cut me to pieces with Sectumsempra?"
"The key to casting this spell is to concentrate and think of the happiest things."
"This spell is generally used to deal with Dementors. It can also be used to send messages. But for me, it has another use."
"This spell represents that one's inner self will not be contaminated." As Snape was speaking, a smile appeared on his face.
Light couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat upon seeing a smile on Snape's gloomy face.
Snape was highly professional. Presumably, he had an extraordinary comprehension of this spell.
This kind of high-level spell in White Magic is usually just barely cast by ordinary people, but Snape could explain it in detail from the basis of the Cheering Charm to Expecto Patronum.
Light understood more as he listened. For a moment, he had the illusion that Expecto Patronum was extremely easy.
"Show it to me! Recalling a happy memory shouldn't be difficult for you." Snape stared intently at Light.
"Okay, okay!" Meeting Snape's gaze, Light knew that the other party was already aware that he could perform Occlumency.
Light immersed himself in memories, recollecting his two lifetimes.
In his past life, he didn't seem to be particularly happy either!
He was born into a traditional family where his parents had great expectations for him. Before he turned 18, it was all about studying, non-stop. However, he wasn't an especially intelligent person and just managed to get into college.
After entering college, he randomly picked a major and muddled through four years without a clear aim. Then he became an ordinary office worker, casually dated a girlfriend, and finally ended up in a chaotic state.
It was truly a hollow and dull life.
But his initial feeling after transmigrating wasn't excitement about being alive. Instead, it was the distress of having to start anew.
It wasn't until he received the message from the stone stele and discovered that there was wonderful magic here that he felt excited and elated.
The excitement of receiving The Hogwarts Acceptance Letter, the shock of seeing Hogwarts for the first time, the thrill during Halloween, and the joy of receiving gifts at Christmas.
It's really nice to be here.
Expecto Patronum! Light waved his wand, and countless silver mists drifted out from the wand tip. A circle of silver-white light dots spread around Light, converging into the illusory form of a bird and then dispersing back into light dots.
"Not bad. It already has a basic shape. Next, you just need to keep practicing to make the Patronus fully take shape."
"You don't need to come tomorrow! Come back every Saturday night instead." Noticing that Light was close to successfully casting Expecto Patronum, Snape nodded with a hint of satisfaction and said.
"Okay, Professor Snape!" As soon as Light finished speaking, Snape led the way out of the abandoned classroom.
"Who's there? Come out!" When Snape led Light to a secluded corner, he suddenly snapped coldly.
"Come out. I can already see you!" Snape pointed his wand at the dark corner.
"Me, me, me. I'm coming out. Don't do anything hasty." Snape watched as Quirrell walked out timidly.
"Why were you hiding in the dark? Do you intend to attack me?" Snape asked coldly.
"No, I was just passing by. I didn't have any ill intentions." Quirrell stammered in denial.
"I know what you're up to. I won't let you succeed! You're being too blatant, whether it's the Troll incident or your behavior." As Snape spoke, he gradually advanced towards Quirrell with his wand in hand.
"What Troll? What behavior? I don't know what you're referring to." While explaining, Quirrell stumbled backward.
"You know what I mean! Your little ploys won't deceive me." A sneer curled Snape's lips, and the tip of his wand began to glow.
Hearing Snape's words, Quirrell didn't say a word. He just kept trembling and backing away, looking exactly like a villain intimidating an innocent NPC.
Light watched this hilarious scene and couldn't help twitching the corners of his mouth.
Just as Snape was about to continue pressing Quirrell, he seemed to sense something and began to scan the surroundings with his eyes.
Finally, he retracted his gaze and, after warning Quirrell, who was almost cornered.
Then he hurriedly took Light and left the place.
"Is Quirrell stuck again? Coming to me for a walkthrough? But this scene is a bit cliché and a bit odd. Could it be...!"
Light, who was following behind Snape, deliberately looked back and found that at a corner not far from Quirrell,
A figure materialized out of thin air. It was Harry Potter wearing the Invisibility Cloak.
Seeing Harry Potter appear, Light thought, "What the hell!" How could he run into him here? There must be something fishy going on!
"What's wrong?" Snape seemed to sense that something was amiss with Light.
"Nothing, Professor! I just took a look at Professor Quirrell." Light forced a fake smile.
"Don't pay any attention to him. He's very suspicious." Snape replied icily.
"Okay, Professor! Got it."
