Looking at the computer screen I could only understand some of words I could see. Galactic basic seemed to have some English in it as my mind supplied memories of what the script meant. Tapping the screen and buttons to learn how to navigate took a few minutes but it seemed pretty basic. Entering a program by tapping its icon on the screen it opened to a page I couldn't understand as most of it seemed to by technical jargon. Exit by another button I tapped into the next icon and found a list of sorts. Scanning the page I found 2 things that might help me, an experimental medical technology lab and a prosthetic surgery lab. Looking around I found a piece of paper and what I guessed was a futuristic pen and jotted down the room numbers. Exiting the list I selected a few more till I found what I had been searching for. The icon displayed in 3d layout of the building and its room numbers. At the bottom of the screen was a button with something on it I didn't understand so I hit it and a message popped up saying something about it being invalid and having nothing to connect to. Searching through more drawers I found something I recognized from most of the Star Wars series. Pulling the holoprojector disk out and examining it I noticed a cord that could extend from the device and plug into something. It took a minute to attach the projector to the computer but as soon as I did the button on screen turned green and clicking on it caused the button to become a loading bar. A few minutes later and it was done and I unplugged the device and hit a button on it. The map of the building popped up in a translucent blue and I began navigating the building itself. The experimental lab was the first room I entered and it was mostly trashed . The only computer was destroyed and anything that could be of use was unrecognizable or not there. Moving to the prosthetic surgery room I found it mostly fine and in the middle was a large bed with multiple arms and surgery tools attached to it. Moving to the far side of the room and activating the computer I found it was able to control the surgery bed to automatically attach and adjust prosthetics. This would allow me to regain my arm and better survive. Finding a large crate of prosthetics in the room besides the surgery room I quickly found one that would fit my body size. Taking the arm with me I re-enter the surgery room and start cleaning the bed and devices. Using the computer I had it run a diagnostic check of the mechanics of the bed and found that the were still functional to a good degree. Activating the device to install the arm on me and lying on the bed I place the arm at my stump and wait for the scanner of the bed to activate. After the scan the arms start moving both to me and the arm. I am quickly anesthetized an I pass out. Waking up a few hours later I feel out my new left arm. It's much stronger than my right and is more articulate yet has less feeling. While sitting on the bed I drink some water and plan what to do next. That was when I heard it, an explosion in the distance. Packing my things I leave the building and move towards the explosion as there is still dust in the air. As I get closer I make out the sound of blaster fire and slow down. Getting near the blasting I climb a building via the rubble of the wall and ceiling. Looking at the area of the explosion I can see 3 Jedi defending themselves and some people in what I assume to be soldier uniforms from multiple locations around the open area they are in. There are a few bodies scattered around them but the jedi were doing a good job of protecting the people with them. Moving towards the assaulting peoples I could tell they were scum. They looked like generic bad guys who used overwhelming numbers to beat their enemies. Moving behind the biggest group of idiots I drew my blaster and held it like a rifle as even if it was a pistol I was still a child. My first 5 shots put down their targets and the other three wounded or incapacitated theirs. With those shots there were only 2 left able to fight in this group and after getting back behind my cover and waiting for their blasters to go into cooldown I popped out and shot them. Walking over I found the had been firing a repeating blaster cannon and were the reason the Jedi had so much trouble. Grabbing the handle I take aim at the rest of the enemy and open fire on them. With the Jedi and their group fire at the enemy we quickly cut the down and I pushed the cannon of the debris it was set on. I quickly turned and grabbed what I thought might be useful for me from the bodies like gas capsules and power cells. I also grabbed a blaster rifle with a scope and even found a thermal detonator. Leaving the place the enemy had set up in I made my way towards the Jedi and their entourage. Putting the blaster rifle in my left hand with the small stock in my arm pit pointing towards the ground I re-adjusted my bag to my right side while walking, as to have my right free but ready to arm myself with my pistol or the detonator. Walking towards the Jedi I recognized them immediately as some of the best the current order had to offer. Leading them was the fan favorite Plo Koon with with to more favorites behind him, Qui-Gon Jinn and the young padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. Moving towards them I suddenly fell as if I'm in danger and need to move. Taking multiple steps back while trying to not trip on rubble and debris I see the 3 Jedi had also backed away and the soldiers with them become agitated. With a sudden crack and spout of dust from the ground a large reptilian, tentacled monster burst out and began breathing fire around itself. The dust settled quickly and I realized what it was. A Sithspawn leviathan, a creature that should have never been on this planet and a creature I never would have wanted to meet. I had read about them due to a Star Wars fanfic that mentioned them. Quickly opening my bag I grab the thermal detector and hit the button and start blind firing at the beasts eyes hoping to slightly blind or stun it for my escape as I had no illusions of killing it without the Jedi on its other side. Tossing the detonator at it I charge to its right to get by it to the Jedi. The thermal detonation caught it of guard as it had focused all its attention on me. Getting by it and running towards the Jedi I don't even know what's happening as I'm seemingly caught by Qui-Gon as he had grabbed and pulled my with the force. Grabbing his robes I say " It's a leviathan you have to use your lightsabers on it as blasters and small explosives do nothing." Qui-Gon and Plo look at each other and nod their heads as the force likely told them what I said was true. Qui-Gon set me down with Obi-Wan and gave him a do your job look and stepped forward with Plo to face the leviathan. I didn't care that they were manhandling me and treating me like a child as I was likely less than 6 years old. Looking at the soldiers I say "Explosives will not hurt it but they will stun it briefly and that could help them kill it." Giving me strange looks they glance towards Obi-Wan and he nods to them. The soldiers start tossing explosives under the beast to distract it as Qui-Gon and Plo use the force to circle it and avoid its tentacles and fire breath. Making fast cuts and stabs at the beast one strike seems to cripple its leg and Plo force jumps onto its back as a explosive goes off underneath it. Raising his saber in a reverse grip he plunges the blade into its head and stays like that for a few seconds. The beast eventually started thrashing and threw Plo Koon of its back but it staggered and fell as Qui-Gon approached and put his saber between its eyes for a few seconds as it makes its death throws. Moving away from the creature they quickly make it to our sides and start discussing a plan on leaving this place. After a few minutes the 2 Jedi masters move in front of me and kneel down and begin introducing themselves and questioning me. "Good evening young one we are Jedi masters Plo Koon and Qui-Gon Jinn, we are here to support the men over there and we thank you for your assistance in dealing with the pirates and as you called it the sithspawn leviathan." Plo Koon said in his awesome sounding voice. Responding I say "You're welcome sir, I was looking to find out where I was when I heard the fighting here and came in hopes of finding answers." Both looked a bit surprised or confused at my response but continued with a nod to me and asked a question. "How did you know of that creature and how to face it?" Taking a minute to think about my answer as I hadn't known how to fight that thing. Most of what I did was panic and deduction from what I knew of the beast as I had simply hoped they could kill it. And how I knew? Well I hadn't thought about the repercussions of knowing this stuff as the monster was simply to dangerous to me to be near and the only people who really stood a chance against it were them. Forming my answer I simply told part of the truth "I read about them and made guesses on how to beat it based on what I knew." Again the 2 looked at each other and turned to me with a smile and a strange look. Finally speaking Qui-Gon asked if they could get a blood sample from me for midiclorian testing. Putting a questioning look on my face he explained midiclorians and the force to me as he didn't know I knew what it all was to a good degree. After his explanation I put my hand forward and he withdrew a device from a bag I didn't notice. Drawing blood he stood and moved away and began watching or fiddling with the device. Plo Koon rejoined the soldiers and I overheard about evac and leaving taking a bit as we were on a low floor. Hearing that I guessed we were on Corusant as it was the only world I knew that had multiple floors low enough to take any significant time to descend into. Grabbing a few supplies we started moving through the crumbling cityscape. After a few hours with only a few breaks for me we arrived at a massive hole in the ground and roof of the floor. Looking into the abyss below I obviously couldn't see anything and looking up there were faint neon lights and other things. High up in the sky hole I could see a ship of some sort descending to us. After sitting for about an hour the ship finally got here and we quickly boarded and began ascending towards the surface. I was taken to a room and I lay down on the bed in it almost instantly falling asleep due to the long and arduous first day I had in this treacherous galaxy.
