A few hours after the transaction happen, the poor-looking adventurer immediately went to the town hall to get a quest. As he kept on looking for suitable quest, he found a quest where he needs to slay 3 Earth Wolf for 1200 silvers. It was a good paying quest however, the poor-looking adventurer think for a moment "although I am confident with my swordmanship and recovery rate, i still haven't learn any spell sword and earthen wolf have a very high defence." Undecided, he keeps looking for another quest and after a few minutes of loooking, he found a pretty easy quest.

The poor-looking adventurer smiles and immediately brought the quest to the receptionist to register. "Here you go Mr. Lamar, we have registered the Rank E quest on your profile. We are looking forward on your success." Said the receptionist. The poor-looking adventurer which we just found out that his name is Lamar which is kinda lame- "Who says my name is lame!" Lamar shouted and dumbstruck as he was still within the townhall vicinity and the onlookers are staring at him. He immediately apologize and run outside to finish his quest.
As he arrive at the dungeon entrance, he was greeted by the guards "oy, Lamar! Your back again." Said by one of the guard. "Yeah, i was able to supply up and just need to earn some living, here's my ID" Lamar, passes the ID to the guard. "Hmm... Rank E quest and slimes, okay, pass granted. You made a good choice this time. Don't be reckless again okay?" The guard reminded. Lamar nodded and proceed to the dungeon. "Let's do this! The earlier I finished this quest, the better!" He said to himself.
As he proceeded to the dungeon, he immediately encounter the water slime. Lamar ready himself and put his hand on his sword ready to sheath at any moment. The slime jumps toward him and spurts a water blade. Lamar notices and dodge to the side and slashed towards the slime. In a blink of an eye, he was able to slay the slime.
The slime immediately drop a core which made Lamar excited and quickly look for another slime. After toiling for god knows how long, he was able to collect 5 water slime core as well as some common herbs that is being use for medecine and potions.
As he make his way back to the dungeon entrance, he saw other adventurers busy with their hunt. Some are in party while others are solo adventurers just like him.
At the entrance, he saw that the sun was about to set so he immediately run towards the townhall to get paid cause soon, the inns and taverns may be full.
"Here's your reward Mr. Lamar, 750 silvers with 10% commission fee your total earning is 675 silvers." Lamar nodded and grab the bag of silvers and put it on his person. He made his way out of the townhall "alright, time to find at inn." Lamar murmured.
As he look for an inn, he ended at the red district of the town. Seductive females and males host are scattered on the streets, seeking for customer. At the very end on the red district a small house can be seen with a signage of an inn. Lamar open the door and saw the inside of the inn, it was clean and tidy and there's only a few patron at the dining area.
"Welcome mister to our inn! Would you like to stay for the night or would you like to eat?" The girl which isaybe about 12 years old greeted Lamar "I will be staying and also eat." Lamar replied. "Good choice mister! My mom cooked my favorite potato stew and quiche." The girl smiles "alright! So how much for my accomodation and food?" Lamar asked. The girl counted on his fingers and said "For accomodation, it will be 14 silvers and for the food, that would be 4 silvers a total of 18 silvers!" Lamar was shocked "isn't it a little too cheap?" He said to himself. Lamar thought for a while but interrupted by the young girl "What's wrong mister? You don't have silvers?" The girl asked while she stared at Lamar with her charming round eyes.
Lamar smile pats the girl's head "No, uncle is just thinking if I can stay here for a while." The little girl smile and suddenly shouted "Mom! There's a mister here who would like to stay more than a day!" The girl run off smiling to his mom. A door opens st the back of the front desk and a fairly beautiful woman appear. Lamar's jaw dropped at the sight of the woman.
The woman smile "Are you the one who's going to stay for a while?" Lamar just nodded. "For how long are you going to stay Mister?" The beautiful woman asked "foreve- I mean 10 days is e-enough." Lamar stuttered. The girl and the woman giggles and opened the registry. "What's your name mister?" "It's Lamar, I'm an adveturer." The beautiful woman was surprised as normally, her patrons are either workers or some employees in the red district. This was her first time having an adventurer as a customer hence dhe can't help but admire the poor-looking Lamar. "I SAID I AM NOT POOR-LOOKING!!!!" he shouted in his mind. "Wow! Mr. Lamar is an adveturer, it is my inn's pleasure to serve an adveturer."
Lamar blushed as it was the first time someone complemented him. "Since you will be staying for ten days, that would be for 180 silvers but since you are the first adventurer that we have in our inn, let me give you a discount and you only need to pay 170 silvers." The woman said. Lamar was thankful for the discount and give the 170 silvers to the woman.
After that, he went to the dining area and wait for his food. The little girl brought his food which is the potato stew and a slice of quiche. "Mister! Mom said that if you want another bowl, just let me know okay?" Said by the little girl. Lamar nodded and patted the girls head and the girl run off once again.
After eating 3 bowls of potato stew and 2 slices of quiche, Lamar washed himself at the back of the inn and went to his room and arrange all of his belongings. "I still have the 2 endure potion, the mana potion was used since I opt to use my recovery magic instead. My remaining silver is around 500 silvers. I don't need to resupply for now unless, I will encounter something unexpected in the dungeon. The good thing is I secured my base of operation." Lamar nodded in satisfaction and went to bed for another grinding tomorrow.
