After a few rotation with guard duty, dawn breaks and light slowly enters the Beast forest dungeon. Clyde and others prepare themselves to delve in the dungeon deeper to find one more earthen wolf.
As they delve further in the dungeon, they encounter other beast as well such as forest wolf, slimes and other monters that has drops that cam be sold for good money. As they are resting, Kido just got back from scouting bearing good news. He tracked the last Earthen wolf that they need to slay to finish the quest. Everyone is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel hence after resting for a couple of hours, they proceeded at the last place that the Earthen wolf was tracked.
"Based on the tracking spell, the wolf is nearby, around by the riverbanks." Kido said "Alright! Vince, cast wind boost on me as well as protect on my signal. Kido and Elise, you'll be my back up. I want to slay this last wolf!" Clyde instructed. As they near at the riverbank, they saw the earthen wolf "Vince cast it now!" Vince casted protect and wind boost to Clyde.
"Let's go!! Battle hunger! Bull's rush!" Clyde perform multiple skill at the same time. Battle hunger skill is akin to a berserk skill that will lowers down the user's defense but increasing his offensive by twofold. But with protect, this side effect was nulled and with the wind boost buff, Bull's rush, his speed doubles that in matter of a second, he immediately covered the 20 yards. When the earthen wolf notice Clyde's rush, it was too late cause as soon as the wolf face Clyde, it was already face to face with him.
Bang!
As the shield smashed to the wolf's head and was it a state of daze Clyde immediately raise his battle axe "Marauding Strike!" Slssh! The wolf's head was decapitated just like that, the combat didn't even last a minute."haha! Did you guys see that! This why i am your almighty leader!" Clyde laugh while the others are shaking their head but smiled since the quest is completed and they don't need to face demotion of their rank.
Kido collected the loot from the wolf while Elise and Vince prepare the fire pit and cook lunch. For today's lunch, it was wolf meat skewer with flat bread and the left over stew from last night. As they happily eat their lunch, without any warning, a big shadow appeared behind Clyde that made the other froze. As the big shadow swipe its claws towards to Clyde "God damn-" before even finishing the sentence, he was sent flying to the tree by the beast. The party immediately react after that. Kido cast smoke screen, Vince xast blink towards Clyde and Elise cast swift and sprint towards Clyde as well.
Clyde tried to get up but he cough a mouthful of blood. Vince immediately have him drink an endure potion. "Argh! That hurt like hell!" Clyde angrily complaint. After chugging the endure potion, he chug another one. With only 1 left, the reserve it for now. After the smoke screen disappeared, they saw the big shadow of a beast.
"Shadowtooth Leopard!" Elise gasps "such bad luck!" Kido frown. The shadowtooth leapard look at the and with a beastly smile, it lick it's lips like a hungry predator. "Formation! God damn beast! I will not let you the reason for our failure today! Vince cast protect and wind boost! Elise and Kido support me!" Everyone nodded and Vince started to case the spell.
Shadowtooth Leopard just stand there watching his prey with amusement like it was already over before the fight begin. Seeing this Clyde grit his teeth"Battle hunger! Bull's rush!" Clyde cast multiple skill once again and rush towards the beast. Shadowtooth Leopard raise it's paw ready to swipe Clyde once again and when Clyde was about 10 yards away, it immediately swing it's claws in front. Clyde saw this and react in time, raising his shield to block the incoming claw "Shield bash!"

Clyde parried the claw "Now!" Elise immediately move "twin strafe!" Two arrows was released towards the eye of the beast but it was blocked by it's other paw. "Gouging stab!" Squelch! Following a deep wound on it's back. Shadowtooth Leopard was annoyed by this and it swing it's tail to Kido. Kido evade it's tail and follow by another stab which cause the bleeding of the wound worsen. The shadowtooth leapard got angry amd roared that made Kido dazed in place and it took another swing of its tail "Kido!" Clyde roared as he dash towards the tail.
Bang!
Clyde was able to block the tail swing but not without damage, there was a cracked on his shield and he hurt his shoulder and arm. Kido thank him and immediately provide support to Clyde as they retreat. "Hail arrows!" Elise also provided them fire support for their retreat. Seeing his prey retreat, the shadowtooth leapard won't let that happen. With an angry roar, it pounces on Clyde "Tier 1 fire spell, Blazing spear!" Vince just finished cast the spell and before the shadowtooth leapard can pounce on Clyde, it was hit by the blazing spear.
The shadowtooth leapard roar upon hit, signaling that it was badly hurt and Clyde notice this. With no hesitation "VINCE! CAST ANOTHER ONE!" Vince just finished chugging the remaining mana potion when he heard Clyde's roar. Gritted his teeth amd started another casting. With the remaining duration of protect and wind boost, Clyde started to be on the offensive once again "BULL'S RUSH!" he roared! The shadowtooth leapard saw it and ready itself to counter Clyde. 15 yards... 10 yards... 5 yards... The shadowtooth leapard immediately swipe its claws "I KNOW YOU WOULD DO THAT! SHIELD BASH!"
BANG! Cracked!
The shield was smashed into pieces and Clyde cam hear his bones cracking, taking the opportunity of the shadowtooth leapard being stunned for a moment, he suppressed the pain on his left arm and forcibly raises his right arm "MARAUDING STRIKEEE!!!"
Squelch!
A deep slash wound appeared on the leopard's neck "VINCEEE!!!" Clyde immediately step back from the beast "Tier 1 fire spell: BLAZING SPEAR!!!!" Vince uses 2/3 of his mana to cast the spell resulting into multiple balzing spear flew towards to the beast hoping it would finished it.
