After finishing her conversation with the imprint on her wall, Serafina noticed some sleepwear in her drawer. She had no idea how it got there.
She asked the imprint, "How did this get here? Did the principal try to get some necessities for me?"
The imprint replied, "Yes, that's correct. The principal wanted to make sure you had everything you needed."
Serafina also noticed that her iPad had a map installed, which would help her navigate the school's day-to-day activities.
She thanked the imprint and asked, "What should I call you?"
The imprint replied, "You can call me whatever you like. Nobody really thinks about it, they just see me as the building's consciousness."
Serafina smiled and said, "Okay, I'll call you ian short for my brother name Ryan."
The imprint chuckled and said, "I'm not fond of the name Rye, but Ian is nice."
Serafina laughed and put on her sleepwear. She got ready for bed and soon fell asleep.
However, her sleep was disrupted by weird dreams. She dreamed of darkness and something pushing her, trying to pull her through the shadows. She screamed and shouted, but eventually woke up.
When she woke up, she heard music coming from outside her room. The imprint, Ian, spoke up and said, "I tried to dampen the music and soundproof your walls so you wouldn't be disturbed."
Serafina's heartbeat was rapid, and Ian asked if she was okay. Serafina explained that she had a bad dream.
Ian suggested that she eat something to calm down seeing as she hasn't eaten and her sugar level might be low. Serafina agreed and headed to the common room.
When she opened the door, she was greeted by a chaotic scene. People were wasted and dancing everywhere. Serafina was relieved that she could enter her room without anyone bothering her.
She made her way to the fridge, wearing her shorts and crop top. Her rainbow hair was tied up in a ponytail.
As she reached for the fridge, she noticed that it was stocked with mostly snacks. She pulled out a bag of Cheetos, her favorite snack.
Just then, a boy tried to approach her. Serafina politely asked him to excuse her, but the boy persisted.
Serafina firmly told him to get off her way, and the boy backed off, laughing.
However, he soon started shouting and calling attention to Serafina. She tried to ignore him and slide away, but he grabbed her hand.
Serafina imagined breaking his fingers, and suddenly, she heard a crack and a scream. The music died down, and people turned to look at her.
That's when she saw Ryker, the boy with orange hair and blue eyes. He stared at her, and she stared back.
Serafina said, "That's what you get for laying a hand on a lady who says no."
She took her Cheetos and walked away, leaving the boy shouting and cursing behind her.
As she walked back to her room, people started laughing and teasing the boy. Serafina entered her room, still feeling a bit shaken.
