Markus stared out the window of his mother's car contemplating something, his continued survival just like almost everyday in his new life.
" What's up sport? Trouble with the girls?" Melissa McCall, his mother said bringing him out of his thoughts once more.
" *Scoff* When have they ever not been trouble?" He asked thinking to the girls in school, mostly how unhinged they were and all their advances towards him.
After all unlike his brother and his little friend Stiles, he was fucking popular.
This is due to the simple fact that he was handsome, having taken more from his mother's and father's best genes and leaving the rest for his brother as they were in the womb.
Well, that's what his brother always said when they threw subtle jabs at each other.
" Well, can you atleast please try to enjoy highschool?" She asked genuinely being worried for him.
He knew why, after all before he was as he likes to call it 'shunted' into this body, past him had been popular and even outgoing.
Having been handsome and athletic and even the captain of the lacrosse team, of course he'd be prime rib, but then he came and immediately started dreading his life.
This had left him shutting himself down, always being alone either researching the supernatural or how to kill them.
This did not really hit his 'reputation' in anyway though, he was handsome and that's all it took to keep a woman's interest.
" I'll try." He muttered with a reassuring smile before once more withdrawing to his own mind again.

—[Moments Later]—
It didn't take long for him to reach school and after that he immediately started rushing to his first class, classes hadn't started yet but he still liked being one of the first inside so as to further think.
Immediately as he entered the school premises his back straightened, his eyes sharpened and he kept a passive expression as he made strides to his class.
Immediately everyone parted and made way for him.
He had found that showing an act of pure confidence that he wouldn't be bothered much, add in a mysterious and quiet attitude made people fear you so he had embraced it.
Of course this didn't work for everyone though.

—[Class]—
Getting to class was easy if he ignored the glances thrown at him, sitting through class would be the real battle.
He needn't sound arrogant but he was smart, coupled with already having been to highschool and further to college, school just became easy after that.
So most of the time he spent his school time day dreaming and hoping that if something were to happen, well, there were hundreds of meat shields if he needed them.
Not long after his brother entered and following right behind him was Stiles, he immediately averted his eyes and stared out the window having taken a sit besides an empty sit.
While waiting though he thought back to this morning.
His brother becoming buff all of a sudden due to the bite and his transformation, to finding his hairs alongside the thoughts he had after.
The Dread Doctors.
That was what had him deeply in thought.
He wasn't gonna contact them or even try to find them, he wasn't stupid.
What had him thinking about them was their lifeswork.
The hybridization process.
They could create imperfect hybrids that technically didn't count as supernatural creatures, just creatures made out of scientific genius.
He thought about how he could maybe do the same, it would take time, maybe too much time but he could make it work somehow if he started as soon as possible.
He'd have to study extensively though as he had basic highschool to lesser college level amounts of knowledge regarding biology and chemistry but none in genetic engineering or any other sub-sciences he may need to make a stable solution to hybridization.
He had his brother and could use his genetic samples for research purposes, with the only problem being that he didn't know whether he would need an alpha in order to really become something supernatural.
As for the bloodlines offered by his worthless system?
Well he'd graciously accept them when he actually held some power to protect himself.
" Can I have your attention please." A voice sounded and once more drew him from his thoughts, he frowned, tired of being interrupted from his thoughts.
His frown immediately ceased though when he stared right besides the principal that just interrupted him.
A girl was besides him.
And just like that he watched as her eyes drifted along through the class and settled to him, she stared at him for way longer than she had at the others before being interrupted by the man besides her.
" This is Allison Argent, please treat her well." He said with his signature scowl before looking at Allison.
" You can take any sit you want." With that last note he immediately walked away, he'd swear though that the principal immediately breathed a sigh of relief as he walked out of the class but Markus ignored that.
He watched as Allison walked up towards him, passed by his brother Scott who looked as if he had his lollipop stolen from him as he watched her sit besides him on the one sit that was empty, Stiles sat on the other side of her though.
Seeing these events he realised that he was fucked.
He did not want the attention of a daughter of a hunter, he knew how worse and cruel they were in this world and didn't want to be caught in the crossfire of whatever was brewing right now.
He did not miss the frown of anger that passed on Scotts face as he stole glances at him though, he even saw Scott's eyes glow a deep yellow before he calmed down and stole one last glance at Allison then focused on the teacher.
And all the while my mind was going at a mile an hour, distressed at the happenings and the palpable atmosphere in the class centred around us.
' What did I do to you?' He thought shaking his head before looking outside the class, he definitely wasn't ignoring the girl besides him staring intently at his him, nope.
