The Lost Dragonborn
Einar, my son. The only way to free you from the pursuit of the Daedric Princes, who want your soul even if it means starting a war, is to send you far away. Live well, my son," said a great golden dragon, looking at a young man around sixteen or seventeen years old with sadness and affection.
The young man named Einar wanted to refuse this. He wanted to fight to the end, but he quickly felt his body being sent somewhere else, unable to do anything.
...
Meanwhile, in several dragon farms around the world, strange things began to happen. Romania was no exception to these unusual occurrences.
"Charlie, have you found out if the dragons are sick or something?" asked the manager with concern, since he had even called a magizoologist to examine them, but according to him, there was nothing strange about the dragons.
"No, sir. They keep acting the same. It's like they're scared of something and, at the same time, happy. It's so strange," said a red-haired boy quickly.
"Tsk. I heard the other dragon farms are having the same problems. What could be happening to them?" the manager muttered as he looked towards one of the dragon caves, where a Hungarian Horntail suddenly jumped happily before running to hide inside the cave.
The dragons weren't the only ones acting strangely. Many other magical creatures were restless, though not as exaggeratedly as those with draconic blood.
In a great dark forest, a man was investigating why the creatures there were somewhat restless until he encountered someone familiar.
"What's happening, Firenze?" asked a large man almost as tall as the trees surrounding them.
"The conqueror of the World-Eater will arrive under the protection of his creator to keep him safe. He comes from another time and space, so everything will be unknown to him. The one who has fulfilled his destiny will now be bound to none. You must be careful, Hagrid. Someone powerful is approaching, and we hope it is with kindness and not destruction," said the centaur named Firenze before turning around without waiting for the giant Hagrid's response, quickly leaving.
Hagrid, seeing this, scratched his head in confusion.
"I should tell Dumbledore," he said and then began running towards the edge of the forest.
...
"Firenze said that?" asked an old man with a long beard while Hagrid quickly nodded in confirmation.
"Very well, Hagrid. I'll keep that in mind. I'll ask some acquaintances to keep an eye out," he said quickly while smiling to reassure the nervous Hagrid before sending him home.
"He fulfilled his destiny and will be bound to none... I wish Harry had such luck," he said while thinking sadly before turning to look at the phoenix perched on a stand, which had been feeling uneasy since early morning.
...
As Hagrid walked towards his hut, not far from the castle he had just left, he saw something bright in the sky that caught his attention as it seemed to fall in the direction of the Forbidden Forest.
When it fell, Hagrid ran in that direction to make sure no creature in the forest had been hurt.
Several professors, as well as the headmaster, also heard a loud explosion coming from the forest's direction, so they were somewhat worried and went out to see what was happening.
...
"Ouch! Akatosh, if it was you, send me back to Skyrim. I want to fight those damned Daedras, even if I die in battle as it should be," shouted a young man who had fallen from the sky, forming a large crater in the ground.
The young man wore a black light armor with a bird on his chest. He had a hood and a mask with ancient carvings covering his face.
This was the Nightingale Armor and the Dragon Priest Mask.
They weren't his best clothes or the most powerful ones, but when Akatosh caught him, he was causing trouble for some Thalmor, and that was the best outfit to leave them with nothing in hand.
His powerful shouts were also accompanied by a great earthquake that frightened all kinds of creatures around.
Seeing that there was no response after shouting, the young man angrily yelled again.
"Damn it!" And with his shout, the trees around him were uprooted, and the earth began to crack. His mask also fell to the ground, though the hood still covered part of his face.
Looking at the destruction he had unintentionally caused, the young man quickly composed himself.
"Sigh. Luckily, I haven't reached the level of the Greybeards yet, or this entire forest would've been destroyed by a single angry whisper," he said, keeping his voice low as he searched for his mask on the dark ground.
"Since I was thirteen, I've been fighting for my life. At fifteen, I even defeated the dragon Alduin and his followers. And I had to fight Miraak at sixteen. I should be able to fight the Daedric Princes even if I end up losing," he said, complaining with annoyance.
Although he knew the Daedric Princes were the ones who faced the very gods.
Being a Dragonborn alone would not be enough. Especially since he was the cause of the almost-war, having become the champion of several Daedric Princes as well as several Aedra in order to defeat those who wanted to destroy the world.
Thud, thud, thud.
Some heavy footsteps quickly caught the young man's attention, and he looked in that direction.
Then he saw a giant running towards him.
"A giant? I didn't accidentally hurt its mammoth when I shouted, did I?" he said as he looked around at the destruction he had caused.
Just in case, the young man drew a one-handed sword from his waist, preparing himself in case he had to fight the giant.
...
Hagrid, upon seeing the young man in the middle of all the destruction, ran towards him to ask if he was okay, but stopped when he saw him draw a shiny sword that seemed magical, while looking at him intently.
"Are you alright? I'm not going to hurt you," Hagrid spoke, but the young man seemed to not understand his language, so he kept staring at him.
...
"@$#$#@ &$@# @@###$
"What language is that?" the young man wondered as he listened to the giant and looked at him with interest, since giants were supposed to communicate through grunts and sounds. But this one seemed to have a language, although different from what he knew.
The young man saw how the giant seemed unsure of what to do while scratching his head. Then, suddenly, some sounds caught the giant's attention.
Zap Zap Zap
And with those noises, some humans appeared near the giant. They seemed to be wizards based on their attire.
An old man with a long white beard appeared to be speaking to the giant.
"Wizards?" The young man, upon seeing the newcomers and their attire, quickly activated magic resistance spells and took some potions, preparing himself.
One of the wizards dressed like a bat, completely in black, looked at the potion he drank with some surprise and intrigue.
Meanwhile, the smallest of the group was greatly surprised to see the enchantment the young man cast upon himself using only his hands.
...
"Hagrid, what happened? Who is the boy?" Dumbledore asked quickly, feeling a great danger coming from the young man standing just a few meters away with a large sword in his hands, watching them cautiously.
"I don't know. When I got here, everything was like this, and the boy doesn't seem to understand our language," Hagrid replied quickly.
"Headmaster, I believe it would be wiser to disarm the boy first and then try to communicate with him. I don't think he would want to be attacked while we try to speak to him," Snape said quickly while staring at the young man.
"It seems we'll have to do that. We don't want him to hurt himself with that sword that looks quite powerful," Dumbledore said. "We'll need to ask the Ministry for a translator of various languages."
"Alright. I'll try to approach him slowly. I don't think he can hurt me," Hagrid said, somewhat confident in his toughness.
...
The young man saw how everyone was watching him and knew they seemed to want to capture him. So, at that moment, they were the enemies, and he quickly raised his guard to the maximum.
Then, when the giant approached him slowly, the young man took a small breath.
"Fus Ro Dah!"
And with that shout, Hagrid was sent flying at high speed.
.....
All the professors saw Hagrid flying away, crashing through trees as he went, until he disappeared from sight.
Snape quickly raised his wand and cast a spell to knock out the young man in one go. But the young man dashed toward him while taking the spell head-on.
However, the spell did nothing to the young man, who seemed to have the same resistance to magic as a giant. Perhaps it was due to the enchantment he cast earlier or the potion he drank. While Snape was surprised, the young man moved at a speed he couldn't perceive, appearing right in front of him.
...
"Wuld Nah Kest!"
Einar moved right in front of the wizard and swung his sword to cut him in half.
A smaller wizard, who seemed to be a dwarf, reacted quickly and cast a spell that made the young man's sword fly out of his hand, disarming him.
Meanwhile, the old man who seemed to be the leader quickly cast another spell at Einar.
Einar jumped back to dodge the spell, but not before pointing one hand at the black-clad wizard and casting a paralysis spell, causing him to fall completely rigid to the ground.
Then, he turned his gaze to the dwarf-like wizard and launched a fireball with his other hand.
The small wizard quickly created a shield to defend himself.
Einar rolled as soon as he touched the ground to put some distance between himself and the group. Although it wasn't the best strategy to fight against wizards, he also knew a lot of magic.
Sparks of electricity flickered from one of his hands, while in the other, a sword made of magic appeared. He watched all the people present with vigilance and even a bit of excitement.
The leader quickly invoked a spell that made the ground beneath Einar turn into chains trying to trap him, as it seemed they had realized he had great resistance to magic.
Einar smiled and noticed that all those wizards seemed to use their magic by moving those wands in their hands.
"Zun Haal Viik!"
Einar shouted, and all the wizards' wands went flying away, to everyone's surprise.
Then Einar raised his free hand, seemingly preparing to cast a powerful lightning spell while looking at everyone present.
