"Bye!" I wave to Sabrina, and head inside my language Arts classroom. I greet my teacher with a warm smile, " Hello Mrs.Hooke", she smiles back.
" Hello dear, head inside the classroom and find your name, and that shall be your assigned seat", " ok, got it" I give a thumbs up, and head inside, on the search for my name.
Carter Hon Hunch… Olivia Shoemaker….Sabrina Lowell Wilson. Jackpot. I pull back my seat, and sit in my seat, and wait for my classmates.
I see everything. The way Sarina lights up when Roman walks by. The way Julianna avoids looking at Roman, whenever he tries making eye contact with her. It's such a mess.
Julianna and Sarina have been friends since the 7th grade, I joined them in 8th grade because we sat at the same lunch table.
I was sitting alone, not talking, until Julianna asked me for my name out of curiosity, and that's when it all started.
As for Julianna and Sarina, they became friends through a science project, they were in the same science class.
I always tell myself, that I don't wish to stand in between them, since they have known each other longer. I don't know why, they seem so close, but yet so distant.
It's the little things when Julianna tries to change the topic if Sarina talks about Roman a little to much, as if she's frustrated. Or when Sarina's smile falters when she catches Roman glancing at Julianna. Both of them don't realize it yet.
I wish I could say something, show them what going on, and to fix it before everything breaks.
But I don't, I can't, because as well as I know Julianna and Sarina, they won't spare each other, and I will be left to choose a side. I dont want that.
Because, if I choose someone, I lose someone at the same time. My decision is to stay quiet, I hope I don't regret it.
