Chapter 6 - You Are All Weaklings

"So, you tried running away huh?" One of them, with short black hair and a stout nose with a reddish tip shouted as he smacked the little girl and sent her rolling in the pavement.

The other with beady eyes and a grey mask wrap around the lower half of his face kept watch, holding the rope used to tie her hands, "We have eyes everywhere, you stupid brat."

The girl rolled on the floor, her long ink-black hair scattered across the pavement as she lay there, trembling. Seeing her crying on the ground, the fat nosed man shouted, "Shut it!"

He raised his leg and kicked her in the back, drawing a sharp cry of pain. The other guy saw this and chuckled, watching as the girl rolled over with a bloodied face and teary eyes.

Just as the man lowered his hand to grab the girl on the ground, he felt a hand rest upon his shoulder. The snout face man turned his head to see who it was, confused for a moment.

"Who are you? How dare you tou—" Before he could finish his words, something landed on his nose. All he felt was the air being knocked out of his lungs as his feet left the ground.

After experiencing levitation for a few seconds, he experienced flight, until his back met with the wall of a building metres away. He exploded on impact, turning into a meaty mess.

Silas stood with his hands stretched out, then straightened his stance while waving his fist, he turned to the other man, who quickly released the young girl's rope, turning to run.

"That grey aura," he mumbled to himself, recalling the image of the man who killed his friend in one punch and thinking, "Only super humans have a halo around them like that."

He had barely ran six metres when he ran into someone's palm, loosing his balance and tumbling over, flying over Silas' shoulder and crashing into the floor behind them headfirst.

As soon as he landed on his face, Silas turned around and approached him, placing his feet on his back with a cold gleam flashing in his eyes, "Have any idea where your boss is?"

Luke ran to the little girl, loosing her restraints. She stood to her feet, wiping the blood off her face with the back of her hand, her eyes puffy from the crying, "Who are you guys?"

The beady eyes man thrashed about on the ground, but he wasn't unable to stand to his feet, pressed to the ground by Silas' feet with his voice muffled in the sand, "I'll cooperate!"

Luke grabbed the girl closer, frowning as she sobbed in his chest. He turned to the side where Ice stood with her back rested on the wall of a house, then returned his gaze to Silas.

"Are you really going to go through all this trouble for these people?" Ice asked, pointing at Luke and the little girl crying in his arm, "They are all weak. They'll be of no use to you."

Silas chuckled, lifting his feet off the man and bending over to pick him up by the neck, lifting him to eye level, then turning around to grin at Ice, "I don't know. I'm enjoying this."

|Keyboard Warrior_76— Chat, this guy's a sicko.

|NotFromOhayo— He's just having fun.

'Are these messages?' Silas raised a brow. He hadn't been paying much attention to this, but his stream viewers had basically tripled and he earned three followers— two in the chat.

He guessed it happened during the time he battled that weird hero and beat up the fools with a girl. Silas raised a brow, 'I wonder how much they must have seen from the stream.'

Silas didn't have time to test out the limits of the stream— he hadn't even tested those of his abilities. The sudden popups shocked Silas, but he guessed he was just overreacting.

|Keyboard Warrior_76— Is he spacing out?

|NotFromOhayo— Man, my soup has gotten cold.

"I will take you to where my boss is! Please don't kill me!" The beady eyed man threw his hands into the air, watching as Silas sighed, "His house is just metres down this alley."

Silas shifted his gaze from the beady eyed man to the shady area they were dragging the young girl into, then turned around, "Hey kid! Is that the place you ran away from?"

Luke lowered his gaze to the young girl, watching her pull herself away to look in the direction Silas was pointing. She did not hesitate to shake her head with bloodshot eyes.

"There is no reason to keep a liar alive is there?" Silas asked, squeezing with his hands as the man squirmed in his grasp, his feet dangling in the air and his arms clawing at Silas.

"Please believe me!" He croaked, tears running down his cheek as his eyes popped out and his face turned blue. Evens hit his fingers latched into Silas' arms, the man continued.

Silas squeezed until the beady eyed man's eyes rolled back in his head, scoffing before dropping the body to the floor, not a tinge of remorse in his gaze, "Take me to this Persus."

The young girl staggered back seeing the light in Silas' eyes, her lips trembling. Seeing that Silas had no intention to harm her, she nodded her head reluctantly, "He's powerful."

"Only because you are all weak," Silas tore his gaze away from the young girl, staring into the dark alley, "After this, I will get myself a good place to rest my head until dawn."

"Uh, a little help?" Ice said, watching as Silas turned to her with a raised brow. After a second, he hurried to her side with a confused face, and she explained, "It'll take a while."

Luke joined the little girl as she took the lead, and they all stepped into the alley. They left the bodies behind, and as Silas walked the road with Ice, he read some floating screens.
