As Jennie lay in bed, the weight of her reality crushed her. The orphanage in St. James, where she spent most of her childhood, had been a cold, unforgiving place. The memories of endless days spent in longing and loneliness still lingered, like an open wound. Jennie's beautiful face, with its round cheeks and heart-shaped lips on a diamond-shaped canvas, seemed to hold a perpetual sadness. Her curly black hair, a wild tangle of knots and coils which was braided into neat box braids , framed her face like a halo. Her petite frame, 5'1" with a voluptuous figure, seemed almost fragile, but her bright, dark eyes sparkled with a resilience that belied her hardships.
She slowly got out of bed, her braids sticking out of her bun, her face stained with drool, and her morning breath reeking of last night's alcohol. "Holy shit, what time is it? Where's my alarm? Fuck this!" Jennie jumped up, forgetting about the bottles of alcohol she had consumed while crying about her termination letter. Her boss's lecherous advances still made her skin crawl. She had declined his offer, and now she was paying the price.
As Jennie stumbled to her PC, her leg throbbing in pain, she scrolled through her job applications. Rejection after rejection stared back at her, until she saw a suspicious ad: "Full-time maid and caretaker wanted for a young master who needs more human interaction." Jennie raised an eyebrow, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios. What did they mean by "human interaction"? Was this some kind of bizarre social experiment? She pushed aside her doubts, desperation getting the better of her. She sent in her application, and to her surprise, she received a call from a warm, excited voice.
"Hello, dear! I'm Miss Lily. We received your application for the maid and caretaker position. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?" Jennie hesitated, unsure of how to reveal her utter lack of qualifications.
"Uh, well...I don't really have any experience as a maid or with children. I barely know how to clean, and I'm pretty sure I'd mess up taking care of a kid." There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, Jennie worried that she had blown it.
But then Miss Lily spoke up, her voice kind and encouraging. "That's perfectly all right, dear. We're not looking for perfection. We're looking for someone willing to learn and care for our young master. Can you tell me why you're looking for a job?" Jennie took a deep breath, letting her desperation shine through.
"I just really need a job, Miss Lily. I'm struggling to make ends meet, and I'm worried about being homeless. I'll do anything to make sure I have a roof over my head." There was another pause, and then Miss Lily spoke up again.
"I think you'll be perfect for our young master, dear. Can you start today she asked "can you resume today ?and you will get paid by the end of the month I will send the address to you, would you be comfortable moving in this week?a vehicle would be provided to assist you with moving in whenever you want to" Jennie couldn't believe her luck. "Yes, yes, I can start today! Thank you so much, Miss Lily!"
"Excellent! I'll send a car to pick you up. Please pack your belongings, and we'll take care of the rest. You'll be moving into the mansion today." Jennie's eyes widened as she scrambled to process the sudden turn of events.
Within hours, Jennie found herself packing her meager belongings into a small suitcase. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the conversation ahead. She knocked on the landlord's door, her heart pounding in her chest.
"Hey, I'm moving out. I got a new job, and I'll be leaving today." The landlord raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by the sudden announcement.
"Okay, well, good luck with your new job. You'll need to pay the balance for this month rent, though." Jennie nodded, relieved that she had managed to scrape together enough money to cover the outstanding balance.
Within hours, Jennie found herself standing in front of the mirror, adjusting her outfit. She had chosen a crisp white shirt with a relaxed fit, hoping to hide her ramen addiction belly. The sleeves were long, but she had rolled them up to her elbows, revealing a pair of worn, silver cuffs. Her tailored trousers were a deep, dark gray, and they hugged her curves in all the right places, accentuating her voluptuous figure and fupa. She had paired them with a pair of scuffed, black boots, which added a touch of ruggedness to her overall look. A simple, silver necklace with a tiny, crystal pendant glinted in the light, adding a hint of elegance. Jennie's braids was tied back in a neat bun, revealing her heart-shaped lips and round cheeks. She looked professional, but her big butt seemed to have a mind of its own. A uniform would be a welcome relief. With a hastily packed sandwich and a huge, pink water bottle, she already notified the landlord of her moving out,
Jennie heard a knock on the door. She opened it to find a sleek black car waiting outside, a driver standing patiently by the door.
"Miss Jennie, I'm here to take you to your new job by Miss Lily Please, let me help you with your luggage." Jennie smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. Maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something new and better.
The driver loaded her suitcase into the trunk, and Jennie slid into the backseat, feeling a sense of trepidation mixed with excitement. As the car pulled away from the curb, Jennie caught a glimpse of her old life receding into the distance. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the unknown ahead yet filled with hope this will be her chance of a fresh start .
