Chapter 26 - Crimson Gauntlet

After countless deaths, made by the Fallen Corpse himself, not only did his scattered blood drop on him, his blanket, and some of the floor, but it also painted his first weapon. The cloth gauntlet's brown figure had long vanished.

It became all red, except for the black dots that lined on his fingers and his knuckles and also the bigger ones on his hands' backs.

Once Rashin had achieved his first 100 SP, The relics resounded all around him with their ding. Perplexed, he waited for the relics to shine and see what surprise would it present.

[Cloth Gauntlet, leveling has been Unsealed!]

[Lv.2 achieved!]

[The reward has been served!]

'Hmm, so it didn't interfere with the fact that I reached my first 100 SP! Not bad.' Actually, it was fantastic. Not only he was able to counter the new Terror that Vitality brought but also he was able to level up his weapon.

'How Marvelous!'

With a swift rotation by his hand, he faced his palm and opened the status of his weapon.

[Cloth Gauntlet]

EXP: 0/20

State: Weapon

Level: 2

Rarity: Minor

Tier: I

Main Abilities: Lv.5, Lv.15, Lv.20!

Passive Abilities: Unseal Lv.20!!

'Oh! What a great evolution!' Indeed, the cloth gauntlet showed another relic within its status and that's EXP. That means that, starting from that moment, every time he trains strength with the cloth gauntlet, he would gain EXP, resulting in leveling up his weapon.

'But... The first level took me more than 90 punches to pass it. How is the second level only needs 20?!' He tried to think about how did it happen and imagine so many outcomes that could lead to that result, but all of his thinking was in vain. He couldn't get the logical explanation behind why did that happen.

So, he decided to train "some" psychics in order to increase his mental stability and also cure his corrupted mind more and more. But first, he wanted to see his psychic relic:

Psychic: 4.6 ( 92 SP)>>>[Psychic Enhancement: +10%]

'well, let's go. Psychics...'

Ding!

'Hmm?'

The relics interrupted him when he was about to dive into his subconscious domain, bringing a formidable message that he knows very well. Yet it wasn't the right time for them.

[Warning!]

[Vital Hunger and Thirst issue!]

[Trial Failure's timer: Initiated!]

[Survive!]

"Sighs!"

'Let's pet you two once more, bastards.' Hunger and Thirst had long vanished from his mind as terrors. They are now just two pets who wanted to go against their owner and Rashin will let them know their places soon.

[Deaths: 386]

After 40 minutes of saturating both of them, Rashin realized that the sun was about to set, bringing the dark night once more. He has about an hour to train psychics before the sun sets. That's why he dove instantly into his inner domain after petting both hunger and thirst. They wasted more than half an hour for the Fallen Corpse. He would have gained in those 40 minutes a total of 8.4 SP.

What a waste of time! And he needed time the most.

After 20 minutes since he started meditating, another psychic particle has been saturated. With the existence of the former one and the new one, they both started to get closer to each other. The small psychic particles stopped regenerating until the current process finishes.

The Fallen Corpse kept training until he reached 1 hour and then he decided to stop because the night was breathing his first breath.

Psychic: 5.2 ( 104 SP)>>>[Psychic Enhancement: +10%]

'Shit! I wanted to continue...' He shifted his sight to his weapon, the cloth gauntlet, and kept observing its new appearance. The gauntlet became fully red with Rashin's precious crimson blood scattered all around the gauntlet.

'Hehe, You look more like a part of me now.' Rashin and his blanket that covered him and the floor of his room all were bathed in his blood, making a small pond that painted the nearly the whole room. And the cloth gauntlet had joined them in this painting mayhem.

'I think your name must be changed!'

Without thinking Rashin opened the gauntlet's status once more and stared at its name. Only to utter its new name.

[Cloth Gauntlet]

Rashin willed to change the gauntlet's name and the relics, to his surprise, responded with his command.

[-----]

"Crimson... Gauntlet!"

[New name has been successfully installed]

[Crimson Gauntlet]

'Hehe, much better.' He looked at the new name for a short moment and then dismissed the crimson gauntlet, just to stare with emptiness at the roof of the room he was held captive in.

'The second day is about to end. Yet, I'm still so weak and fragile. I have to get stronger fast, so fast. You got this, Fallen Corpse.'

The day was over and he must sleep now in order to wake up early and get the third day from the beginning, training until it ends. But before Rashin sleeps, he decdided to open the status and scan swiftly just to make sure everything is ok.

[Main Quest: Reach 0 SP!]

[Current SP: -999,868.64 SP]

Strength: 3.14 (19 SP)

Psychic: 5.2 (104 SP)>>>[Psychic Enhancement: +10%]

Vitality: 0.01 (0 SP)>>>[Vitality Enhancement: +10%]

'What the hell is that?! Wait, wait!!! How did that 0.01 SP come from?!!!'

Just as he was skimming through his status, Rashin noticed something unexpected. A 0.01 SP was accumulated into the Vitality relic, but how was that possible? He didn't even know how to train vitality yet!

He was perplexed! He didn't know where did that SP came from. The most irritating is that he figured that before going to sleep, he doesn't have any time to spare in thinking about how did he gain them.

"Sighs!"

That's my main concern for tomorrow. The Fallen Corpse will figure it, Trial of Death!'

And with that, Rashin relaxed his shattered body and closed his eyes, and dove into the harmony of silence.
