Author's pov:
"Hello!wake up!" a stranger with a suprisely handsome face was flashing a touch light in Agnes face. He was about 1.87m tall and had a good shape with black hair and brown eyes.
He saw Agnes at the bottom of the hill. His house was near the hill and he had to look for a ring he dropped during the day.
He didn't notice that it was missing until he was about to take his bath. The ring was very important to him. It belonged to his late grandma.He finally saw the saw the ring near a frail looking girl he was meant to trail. You meant may be wondering "trail!". Yes trail,you will understand later on.
He brought her into his house and waited for her to wake up. After about an hour later, Agnes woke up. She looked around suspiciously. The room was fairly decorated. It just had a bed on which she was sleeping, table, chair and wardrobe. When she saw the strange man, she almost screamed but her rationality told her not to instead she asked" who are you? and what am I doing here" The strange man cleared his throat and said" my name is Jon. I found you at the bottom of the hill when I went to look for my ring and I decided to bring you home"
Agnes was grateful to God that a good person found her and not someone like her father or her father.
Agnes finally said" Thank you sir" then she looked around and asked" Sir,did you see any bag around me when I was unconscious"
Jon went to the wardrobe and brought out the bag" Take,I believe this is the bag and don't call me sir it makes me feel uncomfortable" Jon said.
Agnes inspected the bag and checked if her important document were still intact while Jon was talking.
"Yes, this is the bag. Thank you so much. I will not call you sir again but I have to leave now. I have a bus to catch before the day breaks." Agnes replied
Jon tried persuading her to stay and at least have something to eat but she insisted on leaving.
Jon escorted her to the bus stop and watched her bus leave before going back to his house. When he got home he dialed a strange number.
"Hello,are you still keeping tab on her" a deep voice asked from the other side. "Yes boss, I was not able to follow her so that she will not be suspicious but I kept a tracking device on her. I head over to her side today to watch her closely"
"Okay,make sure you do not lose track of her. She must be protected at all cost. I can't afford to lose her again" The person at the other side replied
"Okay boss" Jon said and the call ended
Jon wandered what Agnes had done to the boss for him to protect her like this.
He went to pack his clothes and went to his car. Then he drove to the location on the tracker.
On the other side of the world, a handsome sat on his chair and thought" I must not lose her again"..
