Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Reckoning

Backstage – The Aftermath of the Battle

The aftermath of the rebellion was still palpable. Jaxon Cross and The Rock stood side by side in the locker room, catching their breath after a chaotic victory. But they knew this was just the beginning. The battle had been won, but the war was far from over.

Jaxon leaned against the locker, wiping the sweat from his forehead. "We did it. For tonight, at least."

The Rock, ever the optimist, chuckled. "Yeah, but we've got bigger problems now. Vince isn't the type to just sit back and let us take over. You know he's going to retaliate."

Jaxon nodded, his eyes focused. "I've been in wars before, Rock. This is no different. Vince may have money, he may have power, but we have the one thing he'll never have—the loyalty of every person in this locker room, and the fans who want to see him fall."

The Rock cracked his knuckles and nodded. "True. But we can't get complacent. I've been through this before. Vince will come at us from every direction, and we've got to be ready for the fight of our lives."

Monday Night Raw – The Corporate Retaliation

The lights in the arena flickered as Vince McMahon's music echoed through the speakers. The crowd's reaction was a mix of jeers and boos, but it was clear that the man they all hated had no intention of backing down.

Vince McMahon walked to the ring with a smirk, flanked by Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker, who had both suffered humiliating losses at the hands of Jaxon Cross and The Rock. Their faces were filled with anger and frustration.

Vince grabbed a microphone, his voice filled with venom. "So, you think you can take over my company? You think you can defy me without consequences? Well, let me remind you both who is in charge here."

Jaxon Cross and The Rock appeared on the stage, eyes locked on Vince, Austin, and Undertaker. The tension was thick in the air.

"You know, Vince," The Rock called out, his voice smooth but dangerous, "You've been the so-called 'boss' around here for too long. You've used and abused everyone in this company. But what you didn't count on was me... and him." He pointed to Jaxon.

Jaxon stepped forward. "Tonight, Vince, the battle continues. We're not just fighting for control of this company. We're fighting for the future of this business, and we're taking you down."

Vince's face twisted in anger. "You want a fight, Jaxon? You want to go toe-to-toe with me and my soldiers? Fine. But know this: there's a reason I've been in control for so long. And tonight, I'll show you exactly why."

Before anyone could react, Vince McMahon snapped his fingers, and suddenly the lights went out.

When they flickered back on, Triple H and Kurt Angle were standing in the ring. The crowd erupted in surprise. The former World Heavyweight Champion and Olympic gold medalist had now aligned themselves with Vince McMahon, signaling that this war was about to get a lot more complicated.

The Game stood tall, a smug grin on his face. "You thought you were going to take over, Jaxon? You thought this would be easy? I've been to war with every man in this ring, and tonight, we're going to show you exactly how it's done."

The Match – A Game of Survival

The bell rang, and chaos erupted immediately.

Jaxon found himself face-to-face with Stone Cold Steve Austin, who was determined to get revenge. Austin landed right hooks and heavy kicks, trying to keep Jaxon down. But Jaxon wasn't going to fall that easily. He countered with a clothesline, sending Austin reeling, and followed it up with a spinning heel kick that knocked Austin back.

Meanwhile, The Rock and Triple H were engaged in their own battle. The Rock fought with the same intensity that had made him the People's Champion, landing huge blows and devastating samoan drops to Triple H. But Triple H wasn't a slouch—he fought back with a facebuster and an instinctive spinebuster that left The Rock groaning.

At ringside, Kurt Angle squared off with The Undertaker. Angle used his technical expertise to counter The Undertaker's raw power, keeping him grounded with submission holds and quick strikes. But the Deadman wasn't to be underestimated. Taker broke free from an ankle lock and hit Angle with a chokeslam that rattled the ring.

It was clear—this was not a standard match. It was survival.

The Turning Point – The Tables Are Set

The match had reached a boiling point. Jaxon had been battered and bruised, but he was still standing tall. The Rock, though slowed by Triple H's attack, was still fighting back with all he had.

Just when it seemed like the match was about to end in a victory for Vince's team, The Hardy Boyz, Edge, and Christian stormed the ring. The locker room rebellion wasn't over—they had come to help their allies.

The crowd went wild as the rebels fought back with everything they had. The Hardy Boyz cleared the ring of Austin and Angle with high-flying dives and flying forearms. Edge and Christian hit Triple H with double spears, sending him flying across the ring.

With the odds stacked in their favor, Jaxon Cross seized the moment. He grabbed Austin and hit him with a brutal Final Bell, leaving the Texas Rattlesnake unconscious in the center of the ring.

The crowd erupted into cheers as The Rock finished off Triple H with a Rock Bottom. The two men stood tall in the center of the ring, victorious—but this was just the beginning.

The Aftermath – A New Era

As Vince McMahon, Stone Cold, Triple H, and Kurt Angle staggered to their feet and retreated up the ramp, the rebellion stood victorious. The once-indomitable corporate faction had been defeated—for now.

Jaxon Cross and The Rock shared a moment of respect before turning their attention to the rest of the locker room, who cheered their success. But both knew this wasn't over.

The war was far from finished. Vince McMahon wouldn't stay down for long.

Jaxon raised his fist high. "This is just the beginning, Vince. You can bring all the power you want, but tonight, we made it clear: the people have spoken. We are the future of this company."

The crowd roared in approval, chanting "Jaxon! Jaxon!"

The rebellion was just getting started, and the future of WWE was now in the hands of the outlaws.
