As the school day goes on, Kairo continues to keep his sword a secret. Even as he entered his math class. The teacher is already bombarding him with questions and irritation about the last encounter they had.
Kairo clashes with him a bit before they get settled down by the principal of the school. Kentaro Benami, a cool and collected figurehead among the teachers and students. As he steps into the room, everything quiets down. Except for the teacher, of course.
"Ah! Mr. Benami, so glad you could make it! As you see, I'm currently—." The teacher tries to plead his case but is stopped by Kentaro as he observes Kairo and his wrapped sword.
"Kairo, please keep in mind that kendo training weapons are only meant to be used within the kendo room. After class, please properly disregard it!"
Kairo looks surprised at the sudden interest in his wrapped secret.
"Sorry, sir, I'll make sure I put it up before I head to my next class."
Suddenly, as Kentaro leaves with a nod, Marin's eyes start to sparkle in awe as she starts darting around Kairo in class.
"Wait, is the secret project you're working on... Swordsmanship?!" Marin was ecstatic as she bounced around Kairo.
Before suddenly crashing onto the floor from her foot latching to a desk leg. Kairo looked down at her in disbelief.
"Are you okay?" Kairo asked, worried yet unsurprised by her clumsiness.
"I-I'll be okay," tears in her eyes as she pushes herself off the ground.
"I'd honestly think that you're cursed at this point, Marin. It's almost scary how much you trip and fall." Another classmate says with a calm and direct tone as he joins the group.
"Well, I'll be, Ingrid, where have you been all this time?" Kairo smirked as he turned towards him and quickly placed his hands onto both of Ingrid's shoulders.
"Kairo, I've told you before, please keep your hands to yourself." Ingrid raises his left eyebrow as he peels Kairo's hands off his shoulders.
Kairo quickly places his hands back onto Ingrid's shoulders with a big smirk.
"Come on, Ingrid, we're friends, aren't we?" With a mischievous smirk, Kairo tightened his grip on Ingrid's shoulders as he attempted to remove them once more.
"Let go, you damn brute!" Ingrid shouted as Kairo continued holding strong.
But before Ingrid could get another chance to yell at him, a sudden book is hurled at Kairo's head, knocking him to the ground in an instant. A massive bump slowly rose from Kairo's head as he lay on the ground.
"Now, now, everyone, please take your seats so I can begin teaching. We don't have all day." The teacher claps to the class as everyone except Kairo takes their seats.
Marin leans over to Ingrid as they both observe the drooling and blank-faced Kairo.
"Do you think he'll be okay?" Marin worried as she kept her eyes on him.
"Honestly, he kind of looks like you right now." Ingrid observed with a bland and direct look.
Marin's face lit up in disbelief as she heard that from Ingrid. Causing her to lean over and start pounding on him with her hands.
"How can you say that so bluntly!" Marin exclaimed as she continued hitting Ingrid.
Ingrid, however, continued looking at Kairo with a wondering look on his face.
"I wonder why he chose kendo all of a sudden." Ingrid questioned, causing Marin to instantly stop hitting him and change gears fast.
"Should we follow him later and see what he does?" Marin smiles mischievously as she thinks about the things she'll learn.
"You've got something on your face." Ingrid said bluntly once again while pointing at Marin's face.
"W-What?! Where?!" Marin quickly and manically wiped her face. Before quickly pulling out a small mirror from her desk.
"D-Did I get it?" Marin asks worriedly as she looks all over her face with her mirror.
"Nope, it's still there." Ingrid points closer, and instantly Marin catches on.
"You dummy! That's my face!" Marin exclaimed this time, causing the teacher to turn to them.
"Will you two in the back STOP INTERRUPTING MY CLASS!" He shouted as Ingrid and Marin quickly began quieting down.
"S-Sorry, sir." Ingrid and Marin said simultaneously as they quietly waited for the teacher to continue.
Once the math teacher resumed, Ingrid and Marin looked at each other.
"So we're definitely following him after school." Marin said as she held up a thumbs-up at Ingrid.
"Oh hey, that thing on your face is back." Ingrid said, pointing at Marin's face once again.
Like a short fuse, Marin exploded on Ingrid again as she was beating on him once again. The math teacher turned towards them with furious eyes and launched a ruler directly between them like a bullseye.
"OUT OF MY CLASS! NOW!" Shouted the math teacher, as Marin looked in awe, while Ingrid just held a blank face with a slightly tilted head.
End of school
As the bells toll for the final class, students begin filling the halls as well as Kairo. Sneakily behind Marin and Ingrid, they appear to be spying on him. Marin quickly pulls out of the classroom, dragging Ingrid along. Other students are confused by their actions.
Kairo travels down some stairs; as he reaches the bottom,. We get a glimpse of Marin and Ingrid crouched at the top of them. Keeping out of Kairo's sight while Marin was peeking over the stairway. Ingrid attempted to slip away, but Marin instantly leaned towards him and grabbed hold of him. Pulling him back with gorilla-like strength.
"Do we really have to do this..." Ingrid asked reluctantly.
"Come on, he's getting away!" Marin said as she grabbed hold of Ingrid and rushed down the stairs, pulling him like a kite in the wind.
As they follow Kairo, they trace every path as he goes. However, as they pass the kendo room,. They notice Kairo passes it and continues walking.
"Now why would he—." Ingrid's question gets interrupted as a sudden female scream is heard from another area of the school.
