Than thinking of something Keshav said "Jasmine your ability allows you to make barriers by manipulating reality. Is there any restriction on properties you can give to barriers?"
Jasmine nodded, her expression becoming thoughtful. "Yes, there are certain limitations. While I can control the shape, size, and strength of a barrier, I have to work within certain boundaries. The properties I can bestow upon the barrier depend on the amount of reality essence I have at my disposal," she explained. "I can enhance the barrier's durability, add special effects like reflecting attacks or siphoning energy, or even adapt it to specific elements or situations. But the extent and complexity of those modifications is determined by the available reality essence."
Than keshav spanked her ass "Did you forgot the explanation of reality essence system gave us? "
Jasmine jolted at the surprise ass-spank, her cheeks flushing red. She shot Keshav a mock-glare before responding, "No, I didn't! I just oversimplified it."
It said Reality essence don't follow law of conservation of mass and energy.
Try changing your thinking. Don't think that reality essence we are using is just like any energy.
Think of it as any bit of this energy will complete your command whether its to make barrier with 1 property or with 100. You can use same amount of reality essence to make both of them.
Jasmine's eyebrows furrowed as she pondered Keshav's words. "You're right," she said, her tone tinged with surprise. "I've been thinking about reality essence like regular energy, as if it had a limit. But the system did mention that it doesn't follow the laws of conservation. So the amount I have is theoretically unlimited."
So now try creating 2 barriers with different number of properties with same amount of reality essence.
Jasmine nodded, closing her eyes as she channeled her power. She focused on creating two barriers from her reality essence reservoir. The first barrier was simple, consisting of a single property - increased durability. The second barrier, however, was adorned with multiple properties - increased durability, reflecting ranged attacks, siphoning energy from enemies, and adapting to physical objects.
With a surge of reality essence, Jasmine willed her commands into existence, and both barriers materialized in front of them.
"It worked," she exclaimed, admiring the two barriers before them. "The amount of essence consumed was the same for both barriers, despite one having more properties than the other."
Then Keshav said while smiling "You know the best thing of these barriers. You made them using your ability with reality essence. So its like reality itself is defending us. Only attacks that can damage reality like my cut can test its durability like my attack."
Jasmine's eyes widened as she realized the implications of Keshav's words. "You're right," she said, a tinge of excitement in her voice. "These barriers aren't just made with reality essence; they are reality solidified. It's like we're harnessing the fabric of existence itself to protect us. And since only attacks capable of damaging reality can harm it, these barriers are virtually impenetrable."
Then keshav asked " Are your barriers permanent as the portal I made was until you made it disappear."
Jasmine's smile widened "Yes they are as I manipulate realityaroundus to permanently change the reality to make the barrier. But i can make barrier that will disappearafter some time. It will be more like i left a command for reality to reset back how it was before I manipulated it."
Keshav said "Then deploy permanent invisible barrier around us and then lets go to our parents. You will deploy the same on them without their knowledge"
Jasmine nodded, focusing her power to establish a permanent, invisible barrier that enveloped them both. The barrier was seamlessly interwoven with the surrounding fabric of reality, rendering it virtually undetectable to the untrained eye.
"It's done," she said, a glimmer of determination in her gaze. "Now let's head back to our parents. We need to secure their safety too, stealthily."
Keshav than replied happily"Lets first go to your parents."
Jasmine nodded in agreement, her focus shifting to the task at hand. "Alright, we'll start with my parents," she said, taking Keshav's hand.
Together, they navigated through the streets with purpose, heading towards Jasmine's home.
They arrived at Jasmine's house, the familiar surroundings instilling a sense of comfort and familiarity. Jasmine's house was a quaint, two-story abode with a well-manic-cut lawn, and a white-picket fence surrounding the property.
Jasmine and Keshav approached the front door stealthily, taking care not to attract any unwanted attention. They needed to navigate the situation delicately, knowing they weren't the only ones with potential abilities. Jasmine took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest as she turned the door handle.
The door creaked open, revealing a foyer that led to the living room. Jasmine's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Davis, were sitting in the living room watching a movie on the TV. They looked up as Jasmine and Keshav entered, their expressions shifting from surprised to curious.
Mr. Davis got up from the couch and walked towards them, a mix of concern and relief on his face. "Jasmine, you're back! We were starting to worry. Where have you been?"
Mrs. Davis followed suit, joining her husband's side. "Yes, we've been trying to reach you all morning but your cell phone was off."
Jasmine exchanged a glance with Keshav before replying, "I'm sorry, Dad. I turned it off because I've been with Keshav at his place. We lost track of time."
Mr. Davis's gaze shifted to Keshav, sizing him up. "It's good to see you too, Keshav. But maybe next time let us know if you're going to keep our daughter away for an entire day," he said with a hint of sternness in his voice.
Keshav nodded apologetically. "Yes, sir. I'll make sure to let you know next time. It won't happen again."
Mrs. Davis broke the tension with a warm smile. "It's all right, dear. We're just glad you're both safe." She then turned her attention to Jasmine. "Is everything okay? You look a bit different."
Jasmine smiled weakly, her thoughts focused on deploying the invisible barrier unnoticed. "Yeah, Mom, I'm fine. Everything's good," she said, discreetly activating the reality barrier around her parents using her skill.
As the reality barrier enveloped Mr. and Mrs. Davis, they remained oblivious to the subtle shift in their surroundings. The barrier was almost imperceptible, designed to blend seamlessly with the existing reality.
Jasmine's heart pounded as she observed her parents, hoping they wouldn't sense the barrier's presence. The last thing she wanted was for them to panic or suspect something was amiss.
Mr. Davis looked at her curiously. "Are you sure, sweetheart? You seem a little distracted," he pointed out, his concern evident in his tone.
Jasmine nodded, forcing a smile. "I'm just tired," she replied, which was partially true. Her focus was more on maintaining the barrier and ensuring her parents' safety.
Mrs. Davis placed a comforting hand on her arm. "You should rest, then," she suggested. "You've been studying nonstop lately."
Jasmine nodded again, grateful for the cover her parents had unknowingly provided. "You're right, Mom. I'll head to my room and catch some shut-eye."
"Alright, dear," Mrs. Davis said with a warm smile. "We'll be here if you need anything."
Jasmine gave her parents a small wave, then discreetly gestured for Keshav to follow her upstairs. They quietly made their way to her room, away from her parents' hearing range.
Once they were in her room, Jasmine closed the door behind them and let out a sigh of relief. She leaned against the door, her heart still pounding from the stress of deploying the barrier without her parents noticing.
Keshav took a seat on the edge of her bed, his eyes fixed on her. "They didn't suspect anything," he remarked, a hint of relief in his voice. "The barrier is undetectable."
Jasmine nodded, her shoulders relaxing a bit. "Yeah, they didn't notice a thing," she replied, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I can't believe it worked."
Keshav asked "do you want to tell your parents that you became a player?"
Jasmine considered the question for a moment, her thoughts swirling. "No, not yet," she said finally. "I don't think it's wise to burden them with the truth just yet. They have enough on their plate. Let's keep it to ourselves for now."
"I was also thinking the same. Lets not tell our parents. Now my parents are left."
Jasmine nodded, a mixture of determination and trepidation in her gaze. "Let's head to your place then," she said, her mind already envisioning the process of discreetly activating the reality barrier around Keshav's parents.
They left Jasmine's room and carefully made their way down the stairs, trying to avoid any creaking noises. They silently exited the house and walked towards Keshav's house next door.
