They made their way to the site of the closest dungeon. It was a little out of the way, but they managed to navigate the crowded streets and find the gate to the dungeon. As they approached the gate, they saw the entrance was heavily guarded. Police and military personnel were stationed around it, checking the IDs of any players trying to enter.
They showed their newly acquired IDs to the guards, who barely spared them a glance before letting them through. They walked through the gate, the sounds of the city melting away as they crossed the threshold into the unknown.
As they walked further into the dungeon, they felt a strange sense of anticipation and excitement. They had finally made it to their first dungeon after Initiation Dungeon that they were forced in, and they were eager to start their journey. The dungeon was large and imposing, its walls made of rough, dark stone. There was a sense of foreboding in the air, the heavy silence of the dungeon only broken by the sound of their footsteps echoing off the stone.
Keshav was level 60 and Jasmine was 55 and with their cheat skills they had confident that they can easily defeat the dungeon boss.
So, They delved deeper into the dungeon, slaying the monsters that stood in their way. Their cheat skills made short work of even the tougher creatures, and they moved quickly and efficiently through the labyrinthine passages. They were careful to conserve their energy, though, not wanting to exhaust themselves too quickly.
They soon found themselves deep within the dungeon, the monsters getting stronger and more difficult to defeat. But with their powerful cheat skills and constant levelling up, they were able to keep up with the challenge. And the best part was that each time they levelled up, their reality essence was completely restored, so they had a constant supply of energy to draw upon.
They paused briefly outside the door that led to the dungeon boss, taking a moment to catch their breaths and re-check their levels. They wanted to make sure they were at full strength before they confronted the boss.
Keshav: "Level 63"
Jasmine: "Level 61"
They exchanged a look, nodding at each other in silent agreement. They were as ready as they could be.
They pushed open the door and stepped into the boss room. The room was large and dark, the only light coming from a few torches mounted on the walls. There was a large stone dais at the center of the room, and on it sat the dungeon boss - a huge, misshapen creature that looked like a cross between a dragon and a bear. It was covered in thick, bristly hair, and its eyes glowed a malevolent red.
They stood face to face with it, their senses on high alert. They could feel the power emanating from the dungeon boss, and they knew they had to be careful. Without a word, they split up, moving to opposite sides of the room so that the boss would have to split its attention between them.
They quickly used their system to check the dungeon boss's level. It was a Level 130, much stronger than any monster they had faced before.
The dungeon boss roared, its mouth wide open to reveal a row of sharp, yellowed fangs. It charged towards Keshav, its massive body moving surprisingly quickly for its size.
Although they had cheat skill, it was only second day since dungeons came so Keshav were still afraid seeing the boss monster. So in fear he used his skill to cuteverything in front of him.
Instead of just killing the boss, his skill wiped out the very space of dungeon in front of them.
As dungeon space was wiped out due to his skill it opened a path to a space that they can't make head or tails of it.
Sometimes they think it's 1 dimension space, Sometimes 2 or 3. Sometimes even 4 or 5 dimension space or maybe even more they were just unable to notice due to them being weak.
Everything in dungeon started to be sucked in it.
They stood shocked and terrified as they watched the dungeon space get pulled into the strange, undescribable space. Jasmine quickly acted, using her skill to create a protective barrier around them, preventing the vacuum from pulling them in. Then she created a pocket of air within the barrier, ensuring they wouldn't suffocate.
Then a system notification sounded
[ Dungeon stability compromised. Teleporting all players out of dungeon. ]
They felt a strange sensation, and then suddenly the dungeon around them faded away, replaced by the familiar sights and sounds of the outside world. They looked around, confused and disoriented. It was all over. They had cleared the dungeon and survived, but they were left with more questions than answers.
"What just happened...?" Keshav muttered.
They looked around at the other players who had come out of the dungeon with them, all of them looking as dazed and bewildered as they felt. The gate they had entered through was gone, replaced by a blank stretch of air. It was as if the dungeon had never existed.
"What happened to the dungeon?" Jasmine wondered aloud, looking around for answers.
The other players were just as baffled as she was. No one seemed to know what had happened or why the dungeon had suddenly disappeared. Some of them were muttering to each other, trying to make sense of the situation, while others were just staring blankly at the spot where the dungeon had been, as if expecting it to reappear.
Keshav was silent next to her, his expression thoughtful. Lets go somewhere quite to talk alone.
In an alley keshav told
"Looks like I broke the dungeon when I used my skills against boss. My skill can cut anything including physics, laws, rules and concepts of universe. At that time in fear instead of thinking of cutting the boss i was thinking of cutting everything in front of me which might have lead to it."
Jasmine nodded, still trying to wrap her head around what had just happened. "That's insane... But what was that space. Was it something that exist in our reality or something outside it as we had cut our reality."
Keshav frowned, deep in thought. "I don't know," he said. "But it definitely wasn't anything we've ever seen before. It was like... another dimension, or something. And it looked like it was sucking everything in, like a black hole. Hope system repaired just whatever we had cut."
Jasmine nodded, her expression grim. "I hope so... Otherwise, we might have just caused some major damage to our reality." They looked at each other, the weight of what they had done sinking in.
After some rime keshav said "From now on i need to focus only on what i want to be cut."
"Yeah," Jasmine nodded in agreement. "We need to be careful with our powers. You can't just go around cutting anything and everything without thinking about the consequences. We need to focus on our target and make sure we don't cause any unintended damage."
Then keshav exclaimed "I did not get experience or nexus stone for defeating this boss monster. Did my skill even wiped them out."
Jasmine frowned, thinking about it. "You're right," she said. "If you didn't get any experience or nexus stone it means... your skill must have wiped out the nexus stone and experience as well." She shivered at the thought of the sheer raw power he had unleashed.
Keshav looked equally disturbed. "I didn't even know my power could do that," he said, his voice hushed. "I thought it just cut through physical objects, not like... everything in front of me."
Jasmine said "System description did said it can cut anything"
Keshav nodded in agreement. "Yeah..." he said, his voice trailing off. "But I didn't think it meant... everything. Like... reality or whatever I had cut in dungeon. That's..." he trailed off, unable to finish his sentence.
They both fell silent, lost in their own thoughts. They had been so caught up in the excitement of their new powers that they had never stopped to consider the true extent of what they could do. And now, they had unwittingly caused something potentially catastrophic to happen.
Feeling tired Keshav said "lets just go home for today"
Jasmine noded in agreement. "Yeah, let's go home and rest. We'll figure out what to do about all this tomorrow."
And so, they made their way back to their respective homes, their minds still filled with thoughts of the strange space they had caught glimpse of in the dungeon.
