They continued walking back to their apartment, their steps lighter and their hearts filled with the possibilities ahead. With their guild successfully registered and their unique skills at their disposal, they felt like they could conquer anything that came their way.
Soon they reached their home.
They entered their apartment and closed the door behind them, feeling a sense of security and satisfaction.
Jasmine and Keshav stopped in their tracks as they entered the house and saw both their parents waiting for them. They exchanged a puzzled look, wondering what could be the reason for their unexpected visit.
Then they saw that both of their parents were angry at them because they got notification from college that both of them had not gone to college for last 2 weeks.
Jasmine's heart sank as she saw the expressions on their parents' faces, knowing that they were in for a lecture. She exchanged another look with Keshav, seeing the same feeling mirrored in his eyes.
Their parents began to scold them, telling them that they were neglecting their studies and their future. Jasmine and Keshav tried to explain that they had been busy with something important, but their parents were not having it.
The scolding went on for a long time, with their parents expressing their disappointment and frustration with their behavior. Jasmine and Keshav stood there, feeling like scolded teenagers, listening to their parents' words in silence.
After enduring the scolding for a while longer, Keshav and Jasmine decided that it was time to come clean. They took a deep breath and began to tell their parents as they know dungeons had appeared all over the world.
Both of them also awakened as players and for last 2 weeks they were going to dungeons.
Their parents listened in disbelief, their eyes wide and their mouths agape. They couldn't believe what they were hearing. Keshav and Jasmine could see the shock and confusion etched on their faces.
After a long pause, their parents began to ask questions, trying to understand what was going on. They asked about the dungeons, the system, and their skills. Keshav and Jasmine answered as best as they could, trying to ease their parents' panic.
As the conversation went on, their parents' anger began to give way to concern. They worried about Keshav and Jasmine's safety and well-being, knowing that the dungeons were extremely dangerous.
Keshav and Jasmine tried to assure them that they were safe, that they were strong and capable of handling themselves. They showed them their guild IDs and papers, trying to prove that they were taking things seriously.
After a lot of discussion and explanation, their parents finally came around. They were still worried, but they understood the situation better now. They saw that Keshav and Jasmine were handling things responsibly, and they were in a better position than most other players.
Keshav and Jasmine let out a sigh of relief, grateful that their parents had finally understood and accepted the situation. They knew that it would still be a lot to process for them, but at least they weren't completely in the dark anymore. But they did not tell thier parents that other guild members are fake to not make them worry.
They sat down and discussed more about their plans, talking about the dungeons, their skills, and their goals. Their parents listened intently, trying to understand the world that their children had suddenly been thrown into.
Then all of them had dinner together. Their parents gave their consent to them for becoming players.
Jasmine and Keshav said their goodnights to their parents and retreated to their rooms. They were tired after the long day and the emotional roller coaster it had been.
Jasmine changed into her nightwear and climbed into bed. Her mind was still racing with thoughts about their guild and their upcoming tasks. But soon, the weariness overtook her, and she drifted off to sleep.
