Chapter 36 - 35. Alice

When Tom waved his wand, the targets in front of him were enveloped in black smoke and disappeared. The spell Tom used was the Dark Oblivion spell. Tom had been working on mastering this spell for a long time.

The Dark Oblivion spell was perfect for both attack and defense. With this spell, Tom could absorb the energy of those he killed into his own body. Currently, Tom's body was three times stronger than a normal human's.

Tom had a remarkable physique, with muscles that were not excessively thick, but rather aesthetic. After putting on some clothes, he started to head back home. He didn't want to waste time taking a bath to wash off the sweat, so he used a cleansing spell to remove it. When Tom got home, he noticed someone in the yard.

The person he saw was Alice. Tom slowly approached her and looked into her eyes. Alice couldn't meet Tom's gaze because she knew she had made a mistake. She felt that she had broken Tom's trust.

Tom stepped in front of Alice and put his hand on her chin, forcing her to look at him. When Alice met Tom's gaze, her lips parted. Despite his anger towards her, Tom still found her lips captivating.

As Tom stroked her right cheek with the hand holding her chin, Alice closed her eyes and shivered. Moments ago, Tom had been very angry, but with each passing second, his anger was diminishing. However, despite his diminishing anger, Tom was still disappointed in Alice.

When Alice opened her eyes, she looked into Tom's eyes. In Tom's eyes, Alice could see several emotions. The most prominent emotion was disappointment. Alice would have preferred Tom to be angry instead. Speaking in a low voice while looking into Tom's eyes, Alice apologized, feeling embarrassed.

Tom didn't know what to do when he heard Alice apologize. He didn't think he would talk to her again, but he didn't want to dismiss her after she apologized. Alice looked into Tom's eyes again and remained silent. She was captivated by those green eyes.

While Tom looked into Alice's eyes, he was really looking at her lips. He was conflicted about forgiving her. Tom spoke, breaking the silence. "Why?" Tom asked in a single word. Alice tried to explain, struggling to speak.

"I misunderstood. I was very jealous. I know what I did was wrong. Please forgive me." Tom chuckled with anger. "I'm not asking about that. I'm asking why you left without talking to me."

Alice tried to justify herself by looking at Tom's smile. "I couldn't think rationally." As Alice's voice trembled, Tom's smile faded. Seeing Alice like this didn't make him feel good. Even though he had hoped he would feel relieved when he questioned her, it hadn't turned out the way he had imagined and now he felt different emotions.

Tom began to stroke Alice's cheek with his right hand. I guess I should make an exception this time,' Tom thought, breaking his own rule for the first time. He had never forgiven anyone before. No one dared to make a mistake against him. Anyone who made a mistake against him could expect to die.

As Tom began to stroke Alice's cheek, she closed her eyes. For the first time in a long time, she was able to relax a little. She had been away from Tom for about a month and had never been able to relax.

She felt as if a missing piece of her had been restored. Alice placed her left hand on the hand that was stroking her cheek, held it, and opened her eyes.

Tom leaned into Alice's face and whispered in her ear. "This time I forgive you." When Alice heard Tom's words, she laid her head on his chest. She had missed his smell so much that she couldn't describe it. Tom, on the other hand, wrapped his arms around the girl's waist. After a long time he spoke. "Let's go inside now.

We've been standing like this for 5 minutes." Alice hadn't noticed how much time had passed because she had been concentrating on Tom's heartbeat.

When they stopped hugging, they entered the house. "Are you hungry?" Tom hadn't told Alice that he knew she was a vampire, but if Alice said she was hungry, Tom would find her some blood.

Tom was no longer worried about hiding his identity, but he wasn't going to reveal it right away. His resentment hadn't completely faded.

Alice gave the same answer she always gave to that question. "I ate at home an hour ago." Tom didn't get mad at Alice for lying, because he hadn't told her he was a wizard either. Everybody could have his own secrets.

"Now ask your questions." Tom would answer Alice's questions that she was curious about, although she already knew everything from a distance.

However, she would ask some questions to avoid revealing that fact. "I learned some things from my father and I realized that I made a mistake. Is this girl your daughter?"

Tom answered Alice's question with a smile. "No."

"Then who was she?"

"She was an orphan. I wanted to help her."

Alice started to ask another question, but Tom stopped her and started to kiss her on the lips.

Alice remained motionless in the face of such a kiss because she was not expecting it. She tried to resist. She couldn't fully react because Tom's hands wandering around her body confused her. She wrapped her hands around his throat.

Tom grabbed her waist and lifted her up. As Alice took off, she wrapped her legs around Tom's waist.

Tom's left hand held her waist while his right hand squeezed her hips. A little moan escaped Alice's mouth. She was trying to get closer to Tom.

Alice felt safer than ever in Tom's strong arms. With her legs wrapped around Tom's waist, she could feel his warm breath on her neck. She shivered as Tom's hands explored her body.

Tom stood for a moment, looking deep into Alice's eyes, and then slowly lowered her to the floor. Alice was out of breath. There was both pity and passion in Tom's eyes.

Alice smiled slightly and put her hands on Tom's face and kissed him again. This time the kiss was softer, but intense. Tom hugged Alice tighter, his hands running down her back. Alice began to unbutton Tom's shirt, her hands shaking slightly, but her determination was firm.

Tom stroked Alice's hair as he watched her movements. "Alice," he whispered, "you know how much I care for you, don't you?"

"Yes, I do," Alice said, looking into Tom's eyes. "I love you too, Tom."

Tom pulled Alice closer and hugged her, resting his head on her shoulder. The room was silent, they could only hear each other breathing.

Tom was intoxicated by her scent. He stroked her slender neck with his right hand.

He lifted her by the waist again and set her down on the bed. Alice laid her arms on the bed, her back against the bed.

Tom removed his unbuttoned shirt and tossed it to the floor. His well-proportioned body aroused Alice. She used her hands to caress Tom's muscles.

Tom caught the hands touching his muscles and pressed them against the bed. He moved his face closer to Alice's neck. He smelled that intoxicating scent again. It was a perfume scent, but the scent Tom liked was Alice's own.

He began to place small kisses on her neck. Alice could not use her hands because they were held by Tom.

She tilted her head back to give Tom more room on her neck. Tom's little bite made her moan. "AH"

Alice was confused, Tom had not used his physical strength when he held her hands, but now the man in front of her had broken her defenses that even bullets could not break.

She wanted to ask a question to satisfy her curiosity, but decided to leave it for later.

Tom's hands moved slowly to the buttons on Alice's shirt. He carefully undid each button. When she removed his shirt, he saw Alice's pure white skin.
