"Well, if it isn't a delivery, it's… the… evil astrologer," Arianna mimicked in a scary witch voice, causing Nadia to scream in horror as she looked around the room, her fingers digging deep into my skin.
"That's plain stupid even for you, Ari," I dismissed her crazy act. I stood up to go to the door, but a hand stopped me. I turned to see Arianna shaking her head.
"I'll get the door. Stay with Nadia," she said, feeling guilty. Leaving me with her scared sister, she answered the door. A delivery boy stood there with a box in his hands.
"Delivery for Miss Cassandra, please sign here," he said, handing a delivery receipt to Arianna. She arched a brow in my direction, and I nodded for her to go ahead on my behalf. She signed and received the package, shutting the door behind her.
"Who the hell knows your new place?" she asked, investigating the package. She walked over to where Nadia and I sat, waiting for my response.
