"Why did it have to happen again? Why am I sleepwalking again? Is it because I have too much on my mind that I can no longer control my thoughts?" Lily muttered as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.
She let out a frustrated sigh, her eyes fixed on the mirror. Lately, something had been weighing on her mind so much that she found herself sleepwalking again.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock on her door.
"Lily, aren't you going to work? I'll head out first if you're not feeling well..."
Click.
Lily immediately stood in front of her bedroom door, already dressed neatly.
"I'm fine, sir. Didn't you say you dislike it when I waste time on unimportant things and laze around? So, I'll still go to the office in my own car."
"Come with me," Alger said firmly while fastening his watch.
"But—"
"There's something I need to talk to you about, Lily."
"About what?"
"Eat first. We'll talk on the way."
