Aziel, Ricky, and Jake went into the field inside the Academy to start their body training.
"We're gonna start the training by running 10 laps around this field. You both will have to wear this earth bracelets. Put these in your ankles and wrists."
Aziel hands over his self-made earth bracelets that weighs over 10 pounds each.
"Dude, these are heavy. Can't we start with an easy one, I mean, like without using these bracelets?"
"No Jake, experiencing strict and hard training will make you strong faster. So, show me your resolve! I don't want to hear complains when the training starts, don't worry you won't die in this training."
"You're right. Thank you for enlightening that up."
After they put their earth bracelets and was about to start the training, Aziel once again spoke up.
"I will be casting magic to our bodies throughout the run to amplify the training. It will be invisible to the naked eye but you will definitely feel it. Now, start running as fast as you could, and try to follow me!"
When Aziel starts running, Ricky and Jake followed quickly but they immediately felt a heavy pressure crushing them from above.
"What the fuck is this!? My body feels like it's being crushed by something."
Ricky was the first one to drop on the ground due to the heavy pressure.
Jake had made a few steps before dropping as well.
"Stand up, and show me your resolve! Show me that you have what it takes to become stronger!"
Ricky struggles to stand up from the ground, he feels like the ground was pulling his body ready hard. However, due to his great concentration, he accidentally activated his magical core to boost his body strength. Eventually, Ricky stood up from the ground which made him very happy that he lost his concentration, and in the process, all his energy vanished from his body and Ricky dropped to the ground unconscious.
"Ricky! Hang on right there man!"
Jake manage to crawl his way towards Ricky. He checks Ricky's condition and found that he's just unconscious.
"Aziel, do you really want to see our resolve this way? If so, then allow me to show you mine."
Jake focuses all his strength into his leg muscle, screaming as he struggled on the ground, his red hair began to stand and his eyes lit up. Eventually, Jake manage to stand up, and the first thing he did was bringing Ricky to the side of the track.
"Congratulations Jake, for activating your magical core successfully. Although, Ricky was the first one to activate it, you manage to last longer than him."
"I swear to my dad's name dude, I'm gonna smack that head of yours after this training!"
"Good! I like the spirit, and I am looking forward to it but for now, follow me behind!"
Aziel begins running, and Jake followed behind.
Jake manage to run 3 laps before falling down unconscious.
"I knew those mofos can become stronger."
Aziel smiled looking at his friend lying to the ground unconscious, and continue to run the rest of the laps.
After finishing his run, Aziel went to Jake before bringing him to Ricky's side.
"I should heal them right away before someone else sees them unconscious."
The first one to wake up was Ricky and he began to cry.
"Dude, are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere, or something?"
"Aziel, I'm disappointed to myself. I don't think I can become stronger than my current stage."
"Ricky, I'm gonna tell you something, but let's keep it a secret, okay? Between you and Jake, I think you have greater potential on becoming stronger, you might even surpass him."
Aziel winked at Ricky.
"Really? Do you think so?"
"Hey! I heard those! Yes, Ricky was the first to activate it, but I last longer. So, whatever you're saying to him Aziel is biased!"
Jake uses all his strength to smack Aziel but he couldn't lift his hand due to exhaustion.
"You've been humiliating me since this morning. Just wait till I get my strength back, you bastard."
"Jake, how long did you last?"
Jake was about to answer when Aziel stood up.
"Why don't we discuss it over lunch? I'm really starving."
"growl"
"Now that you mention it, I'm quite hungry as well. I think we didn't eat breakfast, right?"
"You're right, me too. Let's go to the cafeteria. I want to eat steak and mashed potatoes, and pasta, and braised pork ribs."
All their mouths were drooling by their imaginations.
"GROWL!"
Now all their stomachs were growling in hunger.
"Alright, let's grab lunch. But, as part of your training, you must go to the cafeteria without any help. And the last one to arrive will have punishment."
Aziel walked towards the cafeteria leaving his friend crawling on the ground.
"Dude! I know it's an intense training, but could you at least lift the magic that you cast on us!?"
"No. It's part of our training, and as you may know, I am also affected by it. So, in order to become stronger in faster way, you need to get used to it because I won't be lifting it anytime soon, and don't you dare remove those earth bracelets!"
"Urgh! Dude, you're the worst teacher ever, you know that?"
Aziel just smiled at Jake and continue to walk to the cafeteria.
Jake couldn't do anything but cursed Aziel in frustration.
Ricky and Jake tries to activate their magical core by concentrating, and they manage to activate it.
Walking slowly to the cafeteria, they saw Aziel waiting for them at the doorstep.
"I knew you could do it."
Aziel smile to them both, which made Jake snapped and smack him in his head.
"Ouch! How could you treat your teacher like that?"
Rubbing his head, Aziel made a cute face with pouty lips and puppy eyes.
"You!"
Jake was about to jumped Aziel, but he was stopped by Ricky, whispering in his ear.
"Jake, let's eat for now so we could replenish all the energy we lost, and we'll jumped Aziel together later. How's the sound of that?"
"I like that one!"
Jake whispers back.
