Chapter 11 - Aria's easygoing nature

Aria's pov

A gasp escaped me and I stared wide eyed at the ink spill on my answer sheet. It brought me back to when I won the fight amongst the warriors just to get the moon mark.

I was so close to the badge when it got ripped away from me, it was this same feeling I got when it happened.

I felt disappointed because I was excited to get the answers correctly.

My spirits deflated but when I looked at the cause of it, I gave her a smile. She was freaked out. Her eyes were wide and her jaw was wide open.

"Oh my God, I am so sorry. It was a mistake," she smacked herself on the forehead, "Stupid, clumsy," she kept smacking herself.

I caught her hand as it was going to hit her forehead again and lowered it.

"Hey, hey, hey, it's okay. It's just ink," I pacified her.

"What? But…this is your test scores," Margery insisted.

"Like I said, it's just ink."
