Chapter 13
But not having enough patience, he makes time go faster, and in two seconds, time passes at 10,000 times the normal speed. Now he thinks, It's time to meet him.
Then he teleports, and in the room remains only silence, with no soul knowing that time flowed faster in the entire Milky Way by 10,000 times for two seconds.
And he appears in a big office, directly in the leather seat behind the desk. After 10 seconds of waiting, someone comes inside.
A young man with silver eyes and long silver hair, dressed in a black suit with a sword at his waist, enters. He seems to walk on air, giving the impression that he is made of air.
But if you underestimate this young man, you wouldn't even know how you died, because he is so fast, and his sword is even faster, that even light cannot keep up with him.
When he comes in, he sees the chair turned the other way, with the back facing him. Strange, did I leave the chair turned?
But then he hears a voice, which puts him on the highest degree of alert. How did he manage to come all the way up, undetected?
"Hello, Kyle Storm. The ruler of this city and the Third Empire."
"You don't know me yet, but I know you."
"Take a seat first, and I will explain everything."
Kyle just looks at Ark and doesn't do anything, but then he smiles and says:
"You are wrong. I know who you are. I saw your fight with Niobe. Don't forget that I am the ruler of the city. It's my job to know what goes on inside my place."
"Then this will be even faster. You have to become my subordinate if you want to continue the life that you had enjoyed until now. Pretty easy, isn't it?"
"Hahaha. Me? A Ruler, a third-level universe fighter, bowing before someone? Not a chance. Don't think that because you defeated Niobe, you have a chance to defeat... ME."
Then the wind around him intensifies, and his body begins to transform into actual wind. With a breeze, parts of his body seem to detach and then reattach.
When he takes his sword out, he becomes even more powerful. The sword is also a blade made of wind, with a red line like blood on the cutting edge. The sword itself doesn't look very impressive, but the sword's sharpness and the blood that it has tasted are second to none.
"Ooh, is that a soul-bonded sword that grows together with its master? It looks pretty strong."
"This is the... 'Vanisher,' the one who makes everything disappear with a cut. You should be honored that in your last moments, you saw 'Vanisher.'"
"Well, I've seen weapons even more powerful than this, and I am still alive."
"And you don't have to keep on waiting for your people to come. The moment you stepped in, you stepped inside my barrier. No one is going to come."
"The reason why I am here is because in the future, you would make a mistake. You would mess with me because you would be afraid of me and my power. You would be afraid that I am after your empire. So you would use any means available to you to kill me and my sister. Of course, you wouldn't succeed, but you will be pretty annoying with your little sabotage games. And I am not in the mood to play the cat-and-mouse game with you. So I will take from you exactly what you feared the most. Your 'Ruler' status."
"What do you mean in the future?"
"Look at this, and you will know."
Then, in the air above, a screen appears, and in it, Kyle sees himself and hears himself ordering the killing of the Ember siblings, trying to tarnish their image in the empire with fabricated stories, and sees himself failing miserably again and again.
But he doesn't give up, and his attempts become more and more dangerous, involving even other students. In the end, he even tries to collaborate with the Dead Beings from the underworld and the Dark Elves from the Dark sector of the universe.
And in the end, he sees himself kneeling on a dark planet in the Dark sector, in front of Ark, begging to be spared. But no one hears his pleas, Ark even less so. Not caring even one bit, then he sees his eyes becoming filled with red light, and then he sees a flash from his eyes and then complete darkness
. He sees himself die, just like that, his head disappearing because of Ark's laser eyes, and then his body is also melted and simply disappears. And that is the end of Kyle Storm, the Ruler of the Third Empire, a third-level universe fighter.
Kyle just looks at Ark, his mind still processing what he saw.
"Like I said, these things will happen in the future, about in the course of one year from now. But just because you are an idiot, doesn't mean I have to play your idiotic games of small-minded power struggles."
Kyle still doesn't fully believe Ark; he thinks, 'No one is strong enough to look at fate so easily and see the different futures, and with almost no effort and with no consequences, and with so much clarity. He is a fraud. I will capture him and then torture the answers about his powers out of him.'
Then Kyle gets to action; he disappears from his spot with no sound or disturbance in the area; he just appears at the back of Ark, like air, as if he was always there. He raises his sword up, ready to hit Ark in the head; if the hit would connect, it would split Ark in two pieces like butter. At least that is what Kyle thinks.
But then something unbelievable happens. Ark starts to say something, and while he speaks, time flows slower and slower, space starts to become harder and harder to move in, the very air and the laws that govern everything, even reality, is as if it is listening to every word of Ark.
It's as if Ark would say 'Disappear' then everything would just become nothing; it's as if the only thing in the universe that matters right now is Ark's words and intentions. Everything must obey Ark.
Kyle sees himself slowing down, but he can't do anything. Even reality obeys the will of 'THE ONE'; what can Kyle do with his meager power? Then he hears Ark and sees him turning his head slowly toward him.
"I am the one who will go beyond the end."
"I am the one who will see what lies beyond the high heavens."
"I am the one who will break the barriers of 'Infinity'."
"I am the one who will break the cycle made by the old monsters."
"I am the one who will 'Remain'."
"So you following me, is not a disgrace."
When Ark says the final word, he also makes eye contact with Kyle, and Kyle barely moved a little from his position at the start. Kyle sees the half-black and half-red eyes, with 'Infinite Will' behind them, and he sees how small he is compared to the 'Monster' that is in front of him.
In the time that Ark talked, nothing was allowed to interrupt him. NOTHING. But then Ark goes back to normal Ark.
Then time starts to flow normally again, space recovers, laws work again, and reality lets everything be free again.
Kyle moves again faster than the speed of light, and that is his normal speed; the sword that moved at a snail's pace now just flashed and disappeared. But then a boom is heard, and the sword that never stopped—the blade that was able to cut even space like butter—lies dead in its tracks, stopped by a single finger. A crack appears on the blade, starting at the contact point with the finger, and then Kyle and his sword fly back like a kite with its wings broken.
Ark just looks at him and tells him:
"I wonder what would happen if you disappeared today? How long until someone else takes your place? And I wonder, would I be able to make 'Him' my subordinate? Now that is an 'underblow' for you, isn't it?"
Kyle gets up with a pale face. The blow to his soul was pretty severe, but the pain is also because he knows that what Ark says could become reality. He gathers his strength once again and throws two 'Wind Blades' that are so fast, they just appear in front of Ark, and they hit him. Even Kyle is surprised, but for a different reason.
"Unfortunately for you, I am immune to elemental attacks. That's why I prefer a fist fight over a fight with powers. In a fight with only powers, it would be really hard to hurt me."
"And I have decided your fate; I will imprison you in a different dimension. You will be able to see and hear everything around you. But no one will see or hear or feel you."
