Chapter 14
"I will leave you here in your office to see your place being taken by someone else, working with a smile for me, while I will make sure that you will regret your decision every day."
"I will leave a death ghoul with you, and it will feast on your body every night. When morning comes, it will puke your body back, and you will heal completely, to see during the day how you lose everything slowly, and at night you will start everything all over again."
"The last time I did this, the guy lasted 36 cycles. That means only 36 days. I wonder if you will last longer?"
Kyle looks in horror at Ark and knows that everything is true. He will do all that with a smile on his lips.
"Well, I am wasting my breath so much because you know the ropes around here the best, and you could do a lot of things the fastest. But I am starting to lose my patience, real fast."
When Kyle sees the impatience on Ark's face, he shudders and starts to accept his fate. Then he puts his sword away and starts to kneel.
"Kyle Storm, at your service, 'Boss'."
"Good, I will need you to keep watch on the big players here on Earth, and report to me if someone is interested in the 'Earth.'"
Kyle just watches with a confused look on his face.
"That is not what I was expecting. You need just a 'watchdog'?"
"Well there is something really important going on with the Earth right now, and let's just say that I'm not really interested in keeping watch every second on the Earth. So that's where you come in. You are strong enough to keep yourself alive until I arrive if something goes wrong, and you know everything there is to know about almost everyone."
"And right now no one can feel it, but some big changes are gonna take place with the Earth, the biggest being that 'Terra' will become...'Someone.' And that is gonna change everything upside down; it is gonna be worse than the dark matter explosion. Because 'Terra' will have a 'Body' to walk, to speak, and to kill whoever she wants."
Kyle calms himself a little bit. But again, his mind is blown away. But himself being the old monster that he is, soon he thinks about how he can use this information.
'I am the only one who knows this right now; I can use this to become even more powerful.'
"The Earth will develop a will of her own and a body that will be able to talk to us?"
"Yes, but it is gonna take some time, about 50 years until the 'Will' is fully developed, and another 50 until the body is ready. So in total, about 100 years until 'Terra' will really walk with her own feet, on her own surface."
"I won't be here then; I will be gone when 'Terra' walks, but you will be here, and you will be my eyes and ears, and when the time is right, I will come back."
"Okay, I understand, boss. I will be your watchdog for the Earth."
"And, a reminder, don't try anything funny. I already imprinted your soul with a 'Mark.'"
"And when you have something to report, just say my name, and I will hear you."
Then Ark just teleports back to his room; he takes a shower and goes to sleep, something trivial, making a 'Universal fighter' submit to him.
After Ark teleports, in Kyle's office, he still stands in the same spot with his eyes closed and not moving even one bit. His thoughts a mystery.
The next morning, Ark wakes up to knocks on the door; he goes to the door and opens it. There is Melody with her angry face.
"Ark, today is our first class. I knew that you wouldn't wake up on time, so I came to get you, like a good little sister."
"There is still an entire hour until our first class; what do you mean 'a good little sister'?"
"I think you need to visit the 'White Planet' a little bit to cool your head."
Then Ark snaps his fingers, and Melody disappears. Then he closes his door and goes back to sleep.
Melody opens her eyes, and all around her sees only snow and a cold wind blowing, freezing her soul. She just stares ahead in disbelief.
"Did he just teleport me to another planet? Just because I was a good little sister and went to get him."
"So that's how you wanna play, huh? I will make him PAY."
"Live Robots. Weapons."
Then she sees monsters appearing in the snow, some ape-like monsters, huge and completely white. They looked at Melody like a delicacy. Then they start attacking her from all sides; she takes out her robots and starts fighting. The apes are mostly 'Solar level 2', with a few of them at 'Solar level 7', and a single ape at 'Solar level 10. The apes numbers in the thousands, Melody is right in the middle of their territory.
Melody takes out 1000 small dwarf-like robots; some have weapons, some have big swords, and some have axes. And Melody takes out a Gatling gun. Then Melody starts firing, and the robots attack the apes. At first, the apes hold on with no problem, but then the robots start to move faster and more aggressively; they are starting to kill the apes.
But then comes the 'Solar stage 7 apes, and they are killing the robots now. Then Melody makes the robots change strategies; the robots form teams of 100 and concentrate on the stronger apes first, while Melody shoots down the weaker ones. She is using the apes to raise the level of her robots, teaching them to fight as a team. But the weaker apes start also to make teams, and they are surrounding the robots and Melody.
Then the big boss is starting to shoot icicle spears towards them, the spears piercing the robots like a hot knife in butter, the robots starting to be destroyed with a speed visible to the naked eye.
When Melody sees that she starts to get angry, so she says towards the big boss:
"I only wanted to play with you all. Not actually killing you, because i know is not your fault, you all only want to protect your home, i know i am an enemy who came uninvited in the middle of your territory. But i am already angry because of Ark, so if you continue to 'Play Hard', then i will also start to 'Play Really Hard' and i assure you that you all will LOSE."
and then she thoughts.
'Well, it would be liberating a little bit, to just kill without a worry.'
Then she sees the big boss ape, that he doesn't throw any icicle spears, is like he understood Melody, and he just looks at her now. The other apes not stopping attacking.
Then she knows she can't start her rampage and just play's nice and treats this like a training. But she says:
"I will still fight you to the death Ark, just wait."
In this time, Ark is sleeping peacefully.
When Ark finally wakes up, there are only 5 minutes until the start of the first class. But when he gets up and takes two steps, it's like he moves with the speed of light; space is shrinking, and time flows slower. When he finishes with everything, it's only been one minute.
Then he gets out and walks to class.
When he enters his class, only one minute remains until the start of class. And then he snaps his fingers, and Melody appears next to him. Melody has her Gatling gun in hand and an angry look on her face, but then she looks around and sees that everyone is looking at her, and Ark behind her with an evil smirk on his face. He looks at her and says:
"I see you are ready for war; I hope you win, but since this class is called 'War,' then I think you have a hard fight ahead of you."
And then he laughs, but not alone; the entire class starts to laugh with him. When Melody hears the laughs, her hair starts floating, and she turns her Gatling gun towards Ark, and just when she wants to pull the trigger, the teacher arrives.
The teacher looks around and sees Melody with a crazy look in her eyes and the students smiling, ready to watch a good show, so he says:
"I don't know what the problem is between the two of you, and I don't really care. If you want to fight, go to the pyramid, but here, fighting is not allowed, and weapons are not allowed either."
Melody takes a last look at Ark and puts her weapon back; then she walks to a free seat and sits down. Ark goes next to her and sits down with no care in the world.
Then the teacher introduces himself and tells them what the class is about.
