Chapter 3 - Chapter Three:The Blast

Zena Academy

Sera

As Serafina walked into the principal's office, leaving Xavier outside, she was immediately struck by the eerie atmosphere. The principal, Miss Feda, stood beside a man with an ominous aura, his black robes billowing around him.

"Ah, Miss Serafina, please take a seat," Miss Feda said, her voice dripping with an otherworldly authority.

Serafina says "it's miss Katsuragi."

Serafina sat down, her heart racing with anticipation. Miss Feda explained that she would need to use a special hub to check Serafina's bloodline. The man, Nino, would take her hand, and the hub would reveal her true nature.

Serafina's eyes widened with trepidation. "Are you sure this is necessary?" she asked, trying to hide her fear.

Miss Feda's expression was unyielding. "Yes, Miss Serafina. If you are not part of the supernatural world, you will be returned home, and your memories of this place will be erased."

Serafina took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay."

Nino reached out and took her hand, and the hub sprang to life. The colors that burst forth from the hub were unlike anything Sarafina had ever seen - white, black, purple, and orange, twice. The hub's explosion sent shards of light flying everywhere, and Serafina shielded her eyes.

When she opened them again, she saw Miss Feda standing before her, surrounded by a faint, shimmering aura.

"What does this mean?" Serafina asked, her voice shaking.

Miss Feda's expression was somber. "I'm afraid you will have to be kept in close quarters, Miss Serafina. Your power is far greater than we anticipated."

Serafina's mind reeled as Miss Feda explained that her power was not just a simple manifestation of supernatural energy, but a complex, multilayered force that defied understanding.

As the principal's words hung in the air, Serafina felt a surge of anger and frustration. "What gives you the right to keep me here? What about my family?"

Miss Feda's voice was firm, but laced with a hint of sadness. "Your family's memories of you have been erased, Miss Serafina. It is for their own protection, as well as yours. Your power is not something to be taken lightly."

Serafina's eyes blazed with defiance. "I won't stay here. I demand to see my family."

Miss Feda's expression remained unyielding. "I'm afraid that's no possible, Miss Serafina. You will remain here under close supervision until we can determine the full extent of your powers."

As the principal's words faded away, Serafina felt a cold, creeping sense of despair. She was trapped, alone and adrift in a world she didn't understand.

Just then, Miss Feda rang a small bell on her desk, and Xavier appeared at the door.

"Xavier, please escort Miss Serafina out," Miss Feda said, her voice firm but polite.

As Xavier led Serafina away, she felt a spark of hope ignite within her. Maybe, just maybe, she could find a way to escape this strange, supernatural world and return to her family.

But for now, she was trapped, a pawn in a game she didn't understand.
