Serafina
As Sarafina stumbled backward, she felt a sense of unease wash over her. The room seemed to be closing in on her, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she had just made a terrible mistake.
She looked around the room, taking in the sleek, modern furniture and the large, comfortable-looking bed. It was all so...perfect.
But something didn't feel right.
Serafina's eyes landed on a small, intricately carved box on the desk. It was beautiful, with delicate patterns etched into the lid.
She walked over to the desk, her heart pounding in her chest. What was this box doing here?
As she reached out to touch the box, the lid suddenly sprang open, revealing a small, glowing crystal inside.
Serafina gasped, her hand flying back from the box. What was this thing?
Suddenly, the crystal began to glow brighter, and Sarafina felt a strange energy emanating from it.
She stumbled backward, her eyes fixed on the crystal. What was happening?
And then, everything went black.
When Serafina came to, she was lying on the bed, her head throbbing with a dull ache. She sat up slowly, looking around the room in confusion.
The box and crystal were still on the desk, but they seemed inert now, the crystal's glow extinguished.
Serafina swung her legs over the side of the bed, her mind racing with questions. What was that crystal? And what had just happened to her?
As she stood up, she noticed a small piece of paper on the desk. It was a note, written in elegant script:
"Welcome, Serafina. I see you've discovered the crystal. Don't worry, it won't harm you. But be warned: you are not like the others here. You have a power within you that could change everything. Be careful who you trust."
Serafina's eyes widened as she read the note. Who had written this? And what did they mean by "the others"?
She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that she was in this alone, with no one to trust.
