"What do you mean Oosuki-san?" Marin still maintained her polite demeanour while she subtly shifted away from Masato and inched more towards the entrance.
"Is it because of that bastard Rin that you are rejecting me?" Masato asked, a bit of frustration and anger seeping into his tone, which made Marin's brows furrow as her smile dropped.
"No, it's not. If you are done, then I'll be leaving," Marin said coldly. Her ever-present smile was no longer there as she walked away.
Marin didn't think she would like someone like Masato, even without Rin.
She had lost all goodwill for him the moment he insulted Rin.
"K-Kitagawa-san!" Masato panicked as he heard Marin's cold tone.
Masato felt like he had done something to annoy her and that if he didn't stop her, he wouldn't be able to salvage their relationship. (He is delusional)
Masato reached out to grasp Marin's hand in panic, but she dodged and glared at him furiously.
"Don't touch me!" Marin hissed in anger as she clenched her fist, her gaze boiling with fury.
Masato was petrified at Marin's outburst because he was just a coward acting like a tough guy.
There was nothing special about him other than the fact that his mother doted on him too much, and she was a bombshell.
But even that had stopped due to his own actions.
"I don't like you, and I never will! The only reason I acknowledge your existence is due to your brother!" Marin said coldly as she gazed at Masato in anger and disgust.
