" Ah where are you taking me. Leave me, leave..... "
Before he could finish his statement, a white handkerchief filled with chloroform was now covering his mouth. He begun kicking his legs. Then a pungent smell entered his nostrils and he widened his eyes in disbelief. He thought of stopping his breath but it was too late, the drugs had already made it way to his system. He begun to feel dizzy, his mind begun to slow down and his resistance weakened. He felt his conciousness slowly fading away and finally he fell unconscious making it easier for the kidnappers to take him away.
Kevin slowly opened his eyes with difficulty. His mind was in chaos as he tried to recall what had happened to him. After sometime, he finally remembered, he was on his way home after visiting his buddy ( Mike ) but then he was kidnapped. Who were those men and what did they want from him. He scanned his environment for sometime and begun to observe his surrounding. The room was large and empty. There was only one light in the room that brightened the place a little. Other areas that wasn't in touch with the light was dark. There were stones on the ground. He tried to stand up from his sitting posture and that was when he realized that both his hands and let were tied tightly to the chair. He tried to free himself but he was still young and didn't had the strength to remove his hands. Instead the more for more he applies, the more he felt hurt. Most children of his age would have been frightened and scared to death but he was different. He was matured even at such young age and was cool as a cucumber. He turned his head around calmly trying to figure out an excaped route. When he realized there was none and he was trapped, he screamed in anger
" Hey who are you guys. What do you want from... "
He instinctively stopped talking as he heard the door opening and looked over. The he saw three figures entering the room but they were in the dark so Kevin couldn't see them well. He quickly questioned again
" What do want from me.... "
Then he heard a laughter. Well it seemed that, that laughter was straight from hell and Kevin frowned more.
" Ha-ha-haa. This child really inquips me. Is been long since I have been so intrigued about a child. He is a rare talent "
The man complimented and laughed again. Then he heard a crooked voive belonging to another person. Well this voice was quiet different from the first one. Comparing both voice the first one was much more better.
" Boss it seems it's in thier blood. You see we made a good choice in bringing this kid here. Ha-ha like brother like sister "
Upon hearing him Kevin frowned and angrily said with a hint of sarcasm
" How do you know my sister. Where is she did you also kidnapp her. Give me back my sister or I will rip your butt off your body, and get me out of here "
They had their faces in the dark so it was difficult for Kevin to see them. Then the familiar croked voice said furiously
" You little brat, were you not thought manners. How dare you talk to us like that, do you even know who we are. You better watch your tone "
Instead of frightening away Kevin rather stared at him and sneered. He really didn't fear them. In fact Kevin was not someone who would chicken away when he met bullies, he would rather fight them and loose than running away in fear. That has been his principle that kept him going on in life.
" Mr. Crooked voice, I did nothing wrong. You guys rather kidnapped me and I'm asking for my freedom. I don't give a damn who you are, just let me go and give me back my sister. I haven't settled scores with her yet. You know, if you allow me to go I'll pretend as if this day never happened. How does that sound "
He said in a negotiating way. Infact Kevin wouldn't have dared to say that in the first place but by trusting his instincts as usual, he felt they wouldn't be able to do anything to him so he just said anything that came into his mind. However, this angered the man with the crooked voice to the core. Exppecially with the nickname he gave him, he felt his face turn red as he got closer to Kevin in the light and held his chin tightly saying
" Do you think you are the boss here or you are in your humble abode. You really need to be thought a lesson."
He raised his hands up high ready to slap Kevin. Kevin closed his eyes, not backing down and prepared mentally for the slap... but in the next second, a cold voice was heard
" Enough "
The man who was about to slap Kevin couldn't move again. He turned to the source of the voice and said annoyingly, blabbering non-stop
" Boss, you shouldn't stop me here, you should allow me to teach this bastard a lesson or two. He is already acting high. Why do we need to keep him we should just kill him. One Linda was more than enough I can't deal with another headache. I think.... "
He quickly stopped talking upon feeling the strong aura his boss was producing. Not just talk, he couldn't even think again. The boss said coldly
" Is it up to you to make decisions for me Roy"
" No, no, no boss. I'm very sorry, I think I might have overtalked again "
Roy quickly said and coward back. Linda, Kevin frowned he was really smart and observant even though he was young. from the man named Roy's words, it seems they already knew Linda. But why would Linda interact with this people. He felt it would be wise to find his way out first before finding about Linda's relationship with them. Upon looking at thier interaction, Kevin guessed the man in the middle was the boss. He was already emitting a very terrifying aura and couldn't be easily approached. Kevin unknowingly became a little scared all of a sudden but still mustered courage and said
" Sir, I think you are the boss please I've done nothing wrong. Let me go "
Then he heard a chuckle thereafter, the man said with a pity voice but his face was full of mischief
" Yes Kevin, you've done nothing wrong... But your sister, linda has committed a hedious mistake you here will be an atonement for her sins"
