It's been around three years since the incident that brought Izuku and his alters to UA High, and after all this time, things were finally starting to settle down. Nezu continued to analyze and study the Midoriya System to try to understand the manifestation and applications of the alters and their quirks. The one Nezu was most interested in was Emiya's quirk. This interest was reinforced when Inko took Emiya to a museum to see ancient weapons and armor. While there, Emiya saw a rusted sword hanging in a display case in the corner. All that was written was 'Unknown Sword.' Emiya copied it and moved on. There weren't really any interesting weapons at the museum; in fact, most of them were just copies created to protect the real weapons from being stolen. The only real ancient weapon there was the rusty sword, which was apparently found recently on a beach. The only reason It was hear was that it was confirmed to be a real ancient weapon.
The next day, when Nezu was teaching Izuku, Emiya switched with him. He wanted to share what he had found with Nezu. "Ah, young Emiya, did you want to tell me something?" Nezu was curious; he knew Inko had taken Emiya to the All-Mighty Museum. He was interested in what Emiya found while he was there. Emiya projected a sword that was way too long to be used by any normal human and pointed at it. "This is the best weapon I have in my armory," he said as he put it on the table for Nezu to examine.
As Nezu examined the blade, he realized several things: one, it was abnormally sharp, and two, it was abnormally hard. Its resilience was much stronger than the common steel it was constructed from. Looking up, Nezu questioned, "Where did you get this?" Emiya stared at Nezu for a couple of seconds before saying, "It was the only real sword at the museum. The rest were all copies made to prevent theft since villains attack those places weekly."
Nezu nodded as he listened. "What is this? It doesn't look like any of the famous swords I can remember from history." Emiya gathered his thoughts before responding in kind. "This sword is called Monohoshi Zao; it belongs to a man called Sasaki Kojirō." Emiya was about to continue explaining when Nezu interrupted him. "But isn't he a myth?" Emiya shook his head and began to tell Nezu all he knew about the mythical man. It wasn't much, just everything he could recall from the history of the weapon. Nezu was incredibly interested in learning about historical figures that people might not even know are part of history. So he decided that he would find more historical weapons for Emiya to analyze.
The first weapons Nezu brought to Emiya were a pair of short swords. Their names were Kanshou and Bakuya. After examining them, Emiya created four swords and placed them on Nezu's desk. Two of them were copies of Kanshou and Bakuya, but Nezu didn't know where Emiya got the other two swords from.
"Can you explain why there are four swords instead of two?" Nezu asked. Emiya nodded and explained, "The two swords you brought me aren't actually Kanshou and Bakuya. They are weapons created from the shards of Kanshou and Bakuya after the swords broke." Emiya then pointed to the two unknown swords. "These are the real Kanshou and Bakuya."
Nezu smiled; his idea was correct—using Emiya's Quirk, he could uncover information lost to history. Emiya picked the two swords up, looked at Nezu, and said, "There's something different about these swords. It's similar to Monohoshi Zao; they're different. The best way to explain it would be that they have a 'Quirk.'"
Nezu's eyes lit up, and he quickly took Emiya to the training ground to test Kanshou and Bakuya. Nezu was thoroughly intrigued; he wondered if people from ancient times had some type of magic or if it was just Emiya's Quirk giving powers to the weapons. Either way, Nezu was trembling with excitement.
Nezu continued to bring Emiya various weapons, armor, and other historical artifacts for him to examine. This served two purposes for Nezu: his own curiosity about lost history and the enhancement of Emiya's arsenal. By equipping Emiya with these relics, Nezu aimed to prepare him for his future as a hero, enabling him to save more people and protect the other two Alters.
Anyway, it had been a while since Izuku recently turned nine years old. He had just arrived at UA today, excited about having class with Power Loader. Izuku had been working in the support course classroom during the times when the support students had other classes. He was trying to create a super suit that could assist with his Alter's quirks, as well as making support gear for himself to use in case they switched. Additionally, he aimed to create a sword that could stand up to Mordred's superhuman capabilities.
As he was walking down the halls, he happened to pass by Recovery Girl's office when a large group of heroes burst through the doors on the other side of the hallway. Izuku, freaking out and not wanting to get in the way, quickly hid in one of the alcoves along the hall. He heard shouting, screams, and calls to hurry. As the heroes passed, none of them noticed him. However, Izuku noticed one hero he could never ignore—All Might.
All Might was covered in blood, with cuts across his arms, legs, and face; bruises marred his skin. But the most horrifying thing Izuku saw was the gaping wound in All Might's side. All the heroes rushed into Recovery Girl's office, and the hallway fell silent. Izuku sat in the alcove, staring off into space. Suddenly, he started blinking rapidly. His hair turned white again, but unlike Emiya's, it became crazy and spiky, growing way past his shoulders and down his back. His sclera turned black, and his pupils became red. Small red horns grew from the sides of his head, and his physical body changed—his muscles increased, and he grew a full foot taller. All his clothes ripped, leaving him in almost nothing but a pair of pants.
Slowly, the new Alter began to stalk the halls of UA.
The Midoriya system usually stood at 4'4", but now it had grown to 5'4", exuding a beastly and intimidating presence. As they walked through UA's halls, they struggled to control their strength. The floor cracked with every step, and any locker they bumped into ended up dented. There was no one around to stop this short Goliath from unintentionally causing destruction.
Nezu was on his way to Recovery Girl's office to check on All Might when he noticed the damage. Concerned, he rushed toward Recovery Girl's office, fearing a villain attack. However, when he arrived, he discovered that the cracks did not lead to her office. Instead, they led to an alcove in the hallway, where he found ripped clothing and Izuku's backpack. Spotting the blood on the floor, Nezu quickly realized something terrible had happened. He understood that there was an uncontrollable Alter was now stalking the halls of his school.
Nezu rushed into Recovery Girl's office, searching for assistance. Numerous heroes were idly waiting for All Might's recovery, so he quickly shouted at them to get up and help search for the currently unstable student. Utilizing the cameras, he pulled up a picture of the new Alter. He was taken aback by how much this Alter had changed compared to the others. After sending the heroes off, he began monitoring the situation.
I'd like to pause here. I'm planning to have the heroes fight the new Alter in the next chapter. I've never been great at writing fight scenes, so I'll dedicate an entire chapter to just this battle. If you can guess who the new Alter is, congratulations!
Also, aside from Sir Night Eye and Gran Torino, what other heroes should I include in the next chapter? Suggestions are welcome, and they can come from different series like Naruto and JJK. Just keep in mind they need to be weaker than All Might—so no Gojo or Madara.
Alright, bye!
