Chapter 6 - Orchestrations
In a towering grandiose mansion located at the north, thousands of miles away from the heart of a bustling kingdom, stood two old men who looked at each other with certain indecipherable expressions on their faces.
"Did you feel that power that suddenly surfaced?" One of the two old men with long grey hair and grey eyebrows, asked the other that was white-haired and stood to his left.
"Yes, I did." The white-haired man replied, recalling the subtle but overwhelmingly suppressive power that seemed to come from an ancient, forgotten era. If it wasn't that he was powerful, he wouldn't have perceived it.
Then he said further, "Such a power would be difficult to trace. It seemed to have come from everywhere."
"Yes, I felt the same. It didn't seem to have a source that it erupted from, but that it came from everywhere."
"Anyway, whatever the case would be, we are going to find it and use it to empower ourselves."
"When we obtain this power and share it between ourselves, I believe we would become tremendously powerful and unstoppable." The grey-haired man said while the white-haired man nodded his head in full agreement.
Speaking further, the grey-haired man said, his tone resolute and intimidating, "At that time, after we have obtained the power and fully mastered how to control and utilize it, we would seize the thrones of many kingdoms, as well as the seats of many nations for ourselves."
"We will make ourselves kings or rulers over them all."
"Agornior, very soon, it will be our time to shine!"
"Yes." The white-haired man who was called Agornior, replied, nodding his head in total agreement.
Then he looked at the sky and said with a certain amount of wrath erupting from his being, his eyes burning with beastly fury, "We could have been kings, as first-born sons. But we had those taken away from us by those corrupt Kingmaking officials."
"If not for the overwhelming security that accompanies them everywhere, I would have long murdered them. But that day isn't far off. They are all going to die one day. Every single one of them."
The grey-haired man looked at the white-haired man and patted him at the back.
"Everything will turn around soon for us. That, I very much believe." He said.
...
"Darling, I have prepared the letter." Arryhiarr said.
Thegarroth smiled and said, "That was quick. You wasted no time in writing that."
Arryhiarr simply smiled and gracefully leaned back on the chair that she sat on.
Thegarroth, not even reading the content of the letter, showing how much trust he had for his wife, happily tucked it away as she had saved him the stress of thinking of what to write to the Envoys of the Red Sky Empire.
Besides, she was a much better writer than him. One of the reasons he fell in love with her was her ability to write beautiful short and long masterpieces, as well as things that could make or break a kingdom, start or end wars.
Gazing at her husband who still looked very handsome as the day he first appeared in front of her, she said, "Dear, our son, he seems to be slowly awakening his potential."
"I saw what he did today during your spar and couldn't help but be heavily amazed. I myself don't think I would be able to block that attack that he sent out at you."
"You are absolutely right, honey. Also, immediately I saw the attack, a certain fear erupted from the depth of my being and gripped me. It was almost immobilizing. But that fear didn't come from me. It was unnatural. Must be an effect of the attack."
Shocked by her husband's sudden revelation, she asked with an astounded look on her face, "Really?
"Yes, darling. I was immensely shocked and had no other option than to immediately use one of my superior defense skills."
"Also, when that attack struck into me and sent me hurtling towards the sky, I thought I was already on my way to the afterlife. Haha."
"It was only when I crashed into the ground that I understood I was still in this world."
"Darling, I have never felt such an oppressive and suppressive attack in my life. It felt like it came from a primordial being of unbounded primal power."
"My last time engaging him anyway, before I get sent to the after-world in a simple training or sparring session." Thegarroth said and chuckled, while Arryhiarr simply rolled her eyes at him.
Of course, she knew her husband was joking, and when he made this type of joke, his fiery competitive spirit had been invoked.
Then she suddenly began to feel that he might ask Vhelgarr to spar with him again the next day, or even later in the day. And no matter how many times he got hit, he would keep going.
This, she had seen many times in the past in battles or spars with superior challengers or opponents when they were much younger, where she would have to step in to stop him.
After thinking through that with a smile appearing on her face, which was simply a smile of great adoration for her tough and adamant husband, she said with a certain look of thoughtfulness on her face, "Honey, our son is still young and is already capable of unleashing such a glorious attack. When he grows older, he would become absolutely terrifying."
"Though, I understand that the attack that he unleashed could be as a result of something suddenly awakening within him, and that he might not be able to unleash that same attack another time, or even in years or decades to come."
"But if that something finally awakens, he would become dreadful and immensely powerful."
"That, I can't wait for."
"By that time, he would take our kingdom, the kingdom we fought hard to create and sustain, to great and massive heights. A height that can't be attained by rulers of other kingdoms. And who can tell, he might become the sole ruler of hundreds or thousands of great empires and grandiose nations. Our son definitely has a great and beautiful future ahead of him."
"Absolutely." Thegarroth said, nodding his head in total agreement to what Arryhiarr said.
Exhaling deeply, his eyes gleaming, Thegarroth stood to his feet and said with an inexplicable look surfacing on his face, "Honey, let me go send the letter you have prepared to the Red Sky Empire and wait for the response of the Chadnezzar. I just hope it will be in our favor."
